This is the cutest little place. The hostess was welcoming and pleasant. It's decorated in a very eclectic style. It's a comfortable home like place to enjoy soup, coffee & an amazing huge chocolate chip cookie with friends.

Wow my sister took us here for lunch and it was perfect. I had collard green soup everyone else had Swiss potato soup and we all had shrimp and grits. The food was outstanding and we loved the atmosphere.

The same restaurant in Dade City is a lot different as far as service. They are very sweet in Dade City where as it's always left me cold and uncomfortable in Brooksville. I get treated like a freak when I go by myself and get put in a corner. I will drive to Dade City before I go back to... More

This is a locally owned restaurant with old family recipes. The homemade soups are worth waiting for. The restaurant is on the smaller side and often has a wait. You will not be disappointed in your lunch choices.

Going to this lovely little corner of Florida for years, my wife enjoys her birthday lunches here. Southern charm in a corner of a gift and florist shop. Can be a bit noisy because of low ceilings and very talkative and sociable clientele. A place for lunch only, closes by 3 PM. Excellent soups, salads and sandwiches and quiches. But... More

Mallie Kyla's is a great place to meet 'the girls' for lunch. The food is fresh and the choices are wonderful. The desserts are even better! Generous portions too! Always a joy to lunch here. After lunch take a little stroll through the shop.

This is inside a local florist and gift shop. The food is fresh daily and so delicious. Save room for dessert! Mallie Kyla's is where the locals eat.

Another trip across Florida and another stop at Mallie Kyla's Cafe and another great experience. Now a readers choice Southern Living Award. My soup was out of this world. Daily special potato soup made with red potatoes cooked and diced perfectly. Not mushy not too firm. Sandwich was a blend of avocado, turkey and sprouts. The homemade dressing on the... More

This place is a crossover of a Cracker Barrel and a tea room. It's nice but the dinning area is in need of a spring cleaning. Food is good. Shop area is nice but a bit over priced for the area.

It was a beautifully set up old house made into a quaint comfortable restaurant. The service was excellent, the staff very accommodating. We enjoyed the chicken salad and the homemade soups. They also have a beautiful little gift shop with unique and unusual items to buy .

They're one of the best places in town to eat. Larie Hensley is the owner and her son Ethan Hensley is one of the chefs. Also look into adding Coney Island.
