We discovered this little gem years ago and have been patronizing it since. Anytime we have company for an extended amount of time we make our way over to Willies. We typically order the option that allows you to try a variety of seafood. We did show up as a group one evening about 40 minutes before closing and were... More

I have eaten here a few times in years past. This time I suspect I ordered the wrong thing. Reading other reviews I knew to avoid the French fries. I ordered fresh grouper, broiled. It was ok, just nothing special. Only afterwards was I told I shoulda ordered it fried. In fact, Willie's is known for their fried catfish. I... More

Met some friends for dinner at Fat Willie's. The food is always hot and tasty. I always get the grilled Mahi fingers....excellent as always. My husband usually gets the seafood sampler plate...he ate it all...and my leftover Mahi. Good hometown atmosphere and great service and a reasonable price.

Everything was awesome, food was hot ,tasty.and affordable. This is the first time I had ever had gator. And the first time I ever had onion rings that were so big and perfectly cooked that I loved them . I never thought I would ever eat gator. But Willies changed my mind.If they ever had a place come to Evansville... More

Fat Willy's normally a very fair very good priced place to eat but we went to their all you can eat catfish for 15.99 the catfish was nothing more than fish fillets which you can get anywhere would be much better to go back to real filleted catfish that's why you go to a place like them.... .....disappointing.... hopefully they... We ate at Willies for the first time. Had to wait (not a bad thing). The food was great and plenty of it. I had the fried sea scallops and they were juicy and wonderful!! My husband had a grouper sandwich and said it was good also!! If you want fancy this is not the place to go but for... More

Grew up in Valrico. We used to frequent Willy's often. It's just as good as I remembered! We had a wonderful server. Tara was so kind and was very helpful. They were busy, but she never showed that she was stressed or overwhelmed in any way. Not a fancy place, but they are the best kind when you can go... More

We stopped here based off of the reviews and was pleasantly surprised with our experience. I had the blackened grouper and my friend had the blackened catfish for dinner. Both meals were fresh and delicious. Service was spot on and the restaurant was clean. Yes the decor is dated but that's what this place is all about. It's a throwback... More

Willies is AWESOME! Old Florida charm in a classic Seafood Shack. Just like the good old days. It's that simple--fresh seafood, friendly service and consistent quality and flavor. Take note-- if you're into fancy white linen, waiters with those giant pepper grinders hovering over you and piano players playing......Willies might not be your cup of tea. The moment you walk...
