Great food, great service, just great. The Food was amazing, I got the Capellini Carbonara. My friends got the Antipasto Salad, and Chicken and Penne in Alla Vodka Sauce. The portions size also allowed us to take some home. Which was also great.

We have enjoyed the pizza twice-both times take out. The sauce is simple and more Italian than Italian-American. It has less of the heavy seasonings and allows the food to speak, instead of covering it with oregano, etc. The second time we added fries to...the order and they were very good. One of the people in our group felt the dough was a little floppy. It could be crisped up a bit, but that shouldn't deter you from trying it. The price for two pizzas is very reasonable!More
Cafe Valentina's was excellent as always! We wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate our engagement and my fiance suggested Cafe Valentina's. The garlic rolls and lobster ravioli was delicious! My fiance loves his salmon special as well. Giuseppe is always happy to see me...and very accommodating for my family. Delicious food in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere! Belisimo!More
We were in a large group treated by our son in laws 2 cousins. Cafe Valentina provided delicious Italian food especially pizzas and pastas. Good gluten free but there was a problem with the bill, which Cafe Valentina did not rectify to our surprise.
Not only is the food delicious, the staff is incredible compassionate and willing to go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. I placed an order at Cafe Valentina through door dash, and to no mistake of Cafe Valentina, the dasher delivered...the wrong order. Upon contacting the restaurant the the chef at Valentina clarified the our order was picked up. About 15 minutes later, I received a call from the chef. He told us that he remade the order and that we could come in to pick it up, free of charge. My husband and I were floored by their dedication to their customers. We will continue to be loyal customers and hope you will consider being patrons at their establishment.More
Went to dinner at Cafe Valentina with a large group of friends this past week on a weeknight. We've lived close by for many years and never tried it. We were amazed at the extensive menu, delicious and ample servings, and outstanding service. It's now...our favorite local Italian restaurant. The wait staff and owner did everything they could to make it a great evening for our group. Can't wait to return for another great meal.More
Tiny, bustling and delicious- what more could you want!? This has been my go to for Italian food since at least 1995. Do not expect Michelin Star service- this place is come as you are, laugh and be full of good food! The staff works...hard, the food comes by the pound and the owners are lovely people who like to joke with you when able. You can never go wrong with the Tortellini alla Carlo, chicken and shrimp Fortuna or the pizzas! And the garlic rolls are crave- worthy.........More
Ordered Large Pep pizza about 8:30pm although it shouldn't matter.took pizza home and it was evident the pizza was a complete pie made earlier in the day with a few slices of pep and a little cheese sprinkled on it and reheated. I t looked...bad and tasted worse. Raccoons loved it. Ripped off. Own it. You did it.More
Fantastic Italian food with lots of choices. Family stopped in late Friday evening for a quick dinner before visiting family in DE. The food is quality Italian with great service. Thought we might want to try the pizza, but after seeing all of the pasta...choices we all decided on the pasta. I ordered the Baked Ziti and was really impressed. The dish was superb with fresh pasta and a pink sauce with melted cheese covering the dish that was so fresh the meal was the best I have had in a while. My partner chose the pasta with garlic and oil and enjoyed the quality of the olive oil and fresh garlic. The dish smelled wonderful as they placed the food on the table. Our son picked the Lasagna enjoying the mixture of meat and cheese covered with a tomato sauce. Food is quite good and the service is attentive. Owner took the time to walk over to the table to inquire about the food. Exceptional quality. Would recommend for a traditional Italian meal.More
This is a great spot to get your italian food fix. I like the fact that they are open on Sundays. I have eaten in and bought take-out. Friendly people and casual atmosphere.
We actually ordered take out. Had not been in awhile. We each ordered an appetizer and a meal. We were very happy w the price and the quality. The food was delicious!
We go to CV every 12-18 months and always want it to be better than it is. Red sauce is acidic and can be thin. The chef loves garlic so expect every dish to be VERY garlicky. Portions are enormous and prices are fair. Any...dish with cheese will have pounds of it and be overwhelmed by the cheese.More
One of my coworkers ordered a whole cheese pizza from here one day and was kind enough to offer me a slice. I thought the pizza was pretty good. It was not too spiced up and had a decent about of sauce & cheese. I...ended up stopping in the restaurant the next week to get a slice to go on my way out of work. I was surprised when I went inside. I was expecting more of the pizza parlour feel, however this was more of a sit down restaurant with a small bar area. There was NO pizza counter. I was expecting a glass window with several pizza options by the slice, but this was NOT the case. There were maybe 2-3 options available by the slice. I got a plain cheese slice. The slice I got that day was NOT as good as the first time I had their pizza, as this seemed to have been sitting around for a little while. Overall, a decent pizza at a decent price. I would not go out of my way, but IF in the area, it is decent. Service was fast, but could have been friendlier. I was left waiting a few minutes before anyone even acknowledged me.More
We come to Valentina's all the time and it is consistently spot on! Everything from pizza, to spaghetti, their Porkette sandwich is TO DIE FOR, and even the desserts! Always fresh and delicious - we even get the spaghetti sauce to go! You're missing out...on a great dining experience if you go someplace else. Delizioso!More
Arrived at 6:08PM & was told by the owner to sit anywhere but then server got upset with the owner because he had told her to take our table & she said that she had just gotten a table before us & then she directed...us to sit at a particular table because the empty ones hadn't been bused yet & the only others available were 6 top tables. After waiting over 5 minutes, server asked what we wanted to drink. Overall our visit took over 2 hrs for 2 pasta meals, one with sausage & one with chicken, a soup & salad, dinner rolls, & 2 drinks for each of us. She took our order by setting her tablet on the table & repeating our order as we said what we wanted. Our meals came with the option of a salad or soup which was wedding soup. We waited another 20 minutes to get our hard, burnt rolls. And she asked if we wanted drink refills (water & a Coke) but never returned with them. After about another 25 minutes, we were served a salad that consisted of a small amount of iceberg lettuce & a slice of tomato & cucumber. We also got a cup of the wedding soup that was only tepid & unable to be eaten. She never gave us our drinks after offering our refills nor found out that the soup wasn't even edible. Another 30+ minutes, server came with our meals. The spaghetti with sausage & meat sauce was done correctly & was good. The pasta with blush sauce & chicken was attempted to be served without the chicken. When I asked where the chicken was she asked if I had ordered it with chicken. I told her that she wrote it down & had repeated it back to me. We asked for drink refills as we waited over 30 minutes with empty cups of ice. She collected our cups, but ended up spilling ice all in front of me & left it for me to clean up. She finally returned with a rag but by that time we had already gotten rid of the ice as it was melting all over the place by putting it at one of the tables with stuff still sitting on it. I counted at least 5 empty tables that weren't bused yet nor in the entire time we had been there was there any attempt at cleaning off any table. The server had another table that was close by who was getting much more attention & getting their food on time. A table of 3 sat down at least 20 minutes after our seating of 2 & they had a different server & who was given their food at least 20 minutes prior to us getting our food. I told the server about the soup & was just told "oh." When I asked about the chicken on my pasta she then took it away, said sorry, & I waited 10 minutes for my dish while my partner had ate so that it wouldn't get cold. I finally received my correct meal, but the chicken had absolutely no taste & was spongy. It seemed like it had been boiled. When she finally returned we had already finished eating & I took the opportunity to tell her about the awful meal & she said another customer said the same thing. She finally returned with our check & nothing was taken off nor any offer of a dessert or anything to make up for all of the errors & bad food. The owner had come up to talk to the table where they were getting attention (seemed like they may have been return customers). Finally the owner asked how things were & I mentioned the meal problem & having to wait over 30 minutes without a drink. He didn't even say sorry but said that the chicken wouldn't have been boiled. Again, no offer to take the horrible meal off our bill or a dessert for all of our trouble or anything. We paid cash & she returned with a $10 bill & a couple of one's so had to get change for the $10. Took another 10 minutes for the exchange, but it gave us time to get 2 containers from the owner so that we could put our own food into them to take it home. We left after 8PM (around 8:15PM). This wasn't our first visit at Cafe Valentina, but definitely was so bad that it was our LAST visit. Between the bad service, waiting so long for our food & drink refills without it being very busy, (there were 4 tables & then a table left) upstairs & 2-3 tables down by the bar with 2 servers) & horrible food, there's absolutely no reason to EVER return! The simple lack of attention & such long waits for each thing there was just no cause for it. Our server disappeared so many times for such long periods of time, it just made for a really bad experience on top of the really bad food. I strongly recommend skipping this restaurant as there are many others out there that serve excellent food with good service. Unless you're choosing to make a meal last over 2 hours, there's really no reason that I can think of as to why 2 pasta meals should take over 2 hours!More
