The best french toast in the entire area, bar none. Made with real french bread and cooked perfect with Mrs. Buttersworth syrup. Yum! Scrapple and eggs, cooked to perfection. If you are a breakfast person like me, this is a must visit restaurant.

When we lived in Seaford we ate here weekly either for breakfast or diner. The food was always good and reasonably priced. We stopped last week while travelling through Delaware and we were not disappointed.
This restaurant was recommended to us by some locals. We were very disappointed. The atmosphere is nice, like an old country kitchen, but we were not impressed with either the food or the service. The meatloaf arrived so cold it needed to be sent back...to warm it up. The waitress brought us some sweet potato biscuits and cornbread, but we had to hail her down in order to get some butter to put on it. The cornbread tasted more like bread pudding than cornbread. The ham and cabbage was not hot when served and was very bland. I had to ask a server twice for some mustard to put on the ham. Needless to say, we probably won’t be back.More
Visiting family in Laurel, Delaware. Went to have breakfast at the Dairy Bar. French toast was awesome! They make some real homemade dishes. 😋Coffee was fresh, waitress was awesome! Local retirees hang out there everyone knows everyone. Atmosphere is dated but quaint. Prices are very...very very reasonable. Party of 4 bill $20.00 plus. 😳More
Always had a good meal there . Flies were not extra and they supplied plenty of them while we were their eating.
It is a very good place to eat very clean and very fast to get your oder .and very friendly also and the price are very good there
The Dairy Bar is a Seaford family-run standard, kind of a low-end diner-like restaurant without the large menu. They always have a set of daily specials (5 or 6), and do Delmarva "home cooking" (meatloaf, chicken and dumplings) quite well. The owner, Stella, does the...dessert baking and will periodically have a tasty treat to offer (cakes, pies). Fridays is seafood day and they will highlight tasty fish dinners and their cream of crab soup. The Dairy Bar is known for their sweet potato biscuits, get them fresh every morning!More
Went to lunch with a friend here, and it was the first time I had been here. While it seems to be an old time institution, I guess it's what you're eating. My hamburger was less than good, not a big surprise in this town...as it is extremely hard to get a good hamburger here. The homemade strawberry pie was very good. Be aware, if you are into healthy eating this is not the place for you.More
Went there wit friends from work. The home cooking is wonderful. All of our meals were great including the deserts.
Our visit was like stepping back in time. The food was made fresh and was very dalish. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back to try the home made desserts.
Quaint, conveniently located and great food! The menu changes daily so call ahead if you'd like to know the specials. Located just a block from Town Hall, the Dairy Bar offers an assortment of dishes from crab cakes to meat loaf...dinners, sandwiches, breakfast and take...outs. We always bring our out-of-town visitors here, and they love it too!More
