The food was decent. Our sandwich was good but the salad wasn’t. The smoothie could’ve been better. The portion is smaller than other cities in the US but it’s the same at different restaurants in Rehoboth Beach. The service was super slow when we were...there. It took them over 30 minutes to make our food. Overall this is a good place.More

We stopped by for lunch. We sat out on the front porch and had big salads and smoothies. Everything was fresh and delicious.

A fairly good sized menu for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores! The tofu scramble was really good, however i ordered the rice porridge and it was a little bland. But, the smoothies and juices were tops! My daughter really enjoyed her avocado toast with egg.

My wife and I stay in South Bethany Beach and travel to/from there on Rt 1. Most times going there or back we make it a point to go to Greenman for a healthy lunch. I eat a vegan diet and she is mostly vegetarian...so this place has innovative offerings for both of us. A lot of their food is organic and their smoothies are excellent. Friendly and efficient staff. It is not much out of the way when traveling on Rt. 1 - so if you are frustrated sitting in travel, take a small detour and fill yourself with something healthy... and then face the traffic feeling a bit better!More

Love this place. Casual, really good food- great for healthy stuff and totally able to handle lots of dietary needs. I had the oatmeal and a juice and the other food looked great. They close at four. About a block off the beach.

This place has many options for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian eaters. My wife had a fresh made gluten free waffle while I had a smoked salmon with cream cheese and diced onions and tomatoes on toasted pumpernickel bread. Everything was fresh and served hot....They also specialize in fresh made smoothies from an extensive menu of different varieties. This is a small place in a house and porch seating but don't let its size fool you.More

I’m a semi-local in Rehoboth, but this was my first visit to Greenman. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place, so I was eager to finally get there. I went on a beautiful Monday morning for breakfast. Everything I was told was accurate...great...food, healthful selection, and good service. What I was not told, and maybe because it matters less to others than to me, is that the ambiance is far from relaxing! I guess I should have realized that Greenman’s location on the beach block of Wilmington Ave. requires a certain level of patience and tolerance, or maybe just a good pair of earplugs. Among the distractions were the free-range children, the too-loud-for-morning 90’s soundtrack playing, and subsequent loud table conversation as a result of the aforementioned tunes from music’s most shameful decade. And if you or your kid like trucks, this is your place to see ‘em all! 18 wheelers, panel trucks, construction vehicles, and trash haulers. Each one accompanied by bangs and crashes and jolly conversations at the top of everyone’s lungs. This is not a knock on Greenman. They are where they are, and it’s as pleasant as can be under the circumstances. Just be forewarned if you’re seeking a serene spot to enjoy your first meal of the day, this might not be your place. That said, the food is delicious, and I will return. With earplugs.More

We ate here everyday as it's the only place that had good healthy options for our whole family. Salads, sandwiches, breakfast items, and smoothies!

We have dined here before in the past, but it had been a while. We were in town and decided to grab breakfast at Greenman. We got there around 8:30am and found the deck half full of patrons. Inside was practically empty. We would have...preferred a 4-top outside on the patio, but unfortunately staff had couples seated at the 4-tops leaving only 2-tops. Therefore, my family had to either wait for a table to become available on the patio OR sit inside. We decided to sit inside since the diners outside appeared to still be waiting for their food to arrive. Inside, the atmosphere was casual, but nicely decorated. They did have linens on the tables, which made it seem nicer. However, the chairs were somewhat uncomfortable and there was an air conditioning duct next to the bench that was blowing cold air on me almost the entire time. Also, the table was a little wobbly. It should be noted that the front door is constantly opening and closing as waitstaff enters and leaves. This allows flies to enter the interior dining space. So, IF you think sitting inside instead of on the patio will help avoid flies, it does not. On the plus side, I was pleased to see that the inside blenders were NOT as loud as I remembered them being. Also, our waitress was very nice. She was polite and friendly. Our food was out of the kitchen within about 15 minutes of ordering, so pretty quick. All of the food was good, with the French Toast being excellent. The waffles are good, but their Creme Brulee French Toast is AMAZING! Overall, we had a good dining experience with Greenman. The food is VERY good. It is fresh and well prepared. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Prices are fair. I would give 5 stars based on food alone, however, dining space and seating is VERY limited. I did not like that they allowed singles/couples to sit at 4-tops when there were 2-tops available, as I feel those 4-tops should be reserved for families or larger parties of 4. Bottom Line: Amazing Breakfast. French toast is out of this world. Atmosphere is casual. Would recommend.More
