My wife and I went there for lunch. We both had a Beet Salad, fire fries, kindle crab cake and the soup of the day. The waitress seemed stressed out and we saw her when we ordered and when we asked for the bill. I had a glass of ice tea which was never refilled. If we wanted salt and... More

Been by the place many times, but never went in before. What a pleasant surprise. Because it's off season we were able to get a booth big enough for 6 people, even though it was just the two of us. We both ordered off the regular menu and we were both very happy. Since we always share our meals with... More

My husband and I visited Lewes for the first time and walked into Kindle on a whim. Interior was warm and inviting. My husband had a perfectly cooked ribeye and my salmon was delicious. The service was friendly and, when we return to Lewes, we will definitely be returning to Kindle

I had the moules frites (mussels with French fries) -- which reminded me of my visit to Brussels years ago; even the broth was quite similar. The fries were quite crispy. After trying some of the draft beers, I tried a bottle of La Fin du Monde from Quebec--I'd had it recommended to me by a friend. It's strong=9% but... More

Fabulous food and service! Gets a little noisy because it is a small venue . Wonderful place to meet friends

Definitely not my first trip to Kindle's and certainly not my last. Enjoyed a Friday night dinner but it was the first time sitting inside. It was a bit noisy which my friends said was very unusual. Tonight's dinner started with a tomato and squash soup. Very good. The main course was the Chilean Sea Bass. While I don't recall... More

We went here for lunch and we couldn't have enjoyed it more! The bartender was personable and made tasty Bloody Marys. Our sandwiches were fresh and well made. The cod tasted like they had just caught it and the short rib burger...OMG. If you're in Lewes, check it out along with the shops that are there.

We did a day trip to Lewes and stopped at the Kindle for lunch. I had "The Winter Pig", a braised pork sandwich and my wife had the "Brie and Parisian Ham Brulee", an open faced sandwich. Both were excellent. For dessert we shared the Carrot Cake with Salted Caramel Ice Cream, also excellent. We sat the bar and the... More

My wife and I ( upon advice of locals) visited this restaurant. Great 1/2 price burger night. Juicy 8 oz angus beef burger with hot and crisp fries. Shrimp with polenta also tasty dish. Great inventory of craft beers. Nice mid-week night out.

We had a wonderful light lunch. Great service, and the food was delicious. Ordered the grilled fish sandwich. Was not disappointed.
