Just the beginning of the season but Hammerheads is dishing out the vibe. Great food, great people, friendly and very accommodating. We love this place. Can't wait for the every Friday journey south this season and enjoying Happy Hour and live music with palm trees and sand to bring home the groove!!

I ate at the small indoor bar--biggest problem was -- they only have beer in cans and none that I like. They were all out of Red Stripe too. So, I had a Bloody Mary which was quite good -- and pretty hot too. Decided to try the same two items I'd had at the Hammerheads in their downtown Dewey... More

My wife and I brought our 2 Westies with us for lunch in September...it was a gorgeous day (80+ degrees/clear skies/sunny) to sit outside and enjoy a meal with our 2 "boys"...the restaurant is by the marina and state park on northern side of the Indian River Inlet...great views of the boats in the marina...also provides great views of sunsets...most... Dining outdoors on the marina, you feel like you're in Florida thanks to the decor and the sand beneath your feet. Nice waiter; friendly and helpful. Food (appetizers) were very tasty and came out quick. Nice drink special concoctions. Not crazy expensive but a bit on the pricey side. Could probably also use a few more umbrellas - a little... 6 of us stopped for a late dinner on a Saturday night. It was a bit chilly but full inside (very limited seating) so we sat outside. The service was very good, he was fast and efficient. They were out of wings (bummer) on a Sat night but we made do. The food was good, not great. Seating was not... More

This Hammerheads is located near the Delaware State Park Campgrounds and Cottages. It is located in the Marina where there is a Bait and Tackle where you can charter full or half day fishing trips. I arrived at "happy hour" with a small band playing 80's tunes and rock music. It is a local watering hole where dogs can sit... More

What a hidden gem we just discovered today. You feel like you're on a tropical island when you visit this restaurant which is right on the water, next to the marina. I love all the sand everywhere and the beautiful walkway. We were able to bring our dog because it's outside. We had a beautiful view of the marina and... More

This is a great little place to grab lunch and drinks...my favorite is their orange crushes. The downside is that on a hot day they do not always have the fans on or enough of them and you get attacked by flys. I sure hope that they do something to control them.

My dad took us here for a late lunch. The oysters on the 1/2 shell were on offer. I didn't try them but 2 dozen were ordered in the end so they must have been good. I had the fish tacos. The view was lovely of all the boats.
