The best sushi in Litchfield County. Charming professional husband and wife team make you feel as if your at their home dining. Patience necessary-all dishes meticulously prepared and wonderfully presented.

The fish here is of excellent quality. When you walk in you don't know where you are. there seems to be only 5 tables, so there is a nice open feel but actually feels weird. The second we sit down this lady who is not our waitress, tells us we must order our sushi right away, something about a large... More

Hmmm. Food is good. Fish is fresh but very small portions. Presentation is average. ambiance is somber, serious, gray. Nobody smiles. My pricing benchmarks are uni and yellowtail sushi. here it is $9.50 and $5.75 per piece respectively. I've eaten sushi for 35 years, all around the world, including Tokyo...these are the highest prices I've ever seen. A modest dinner... More

You have two choices at this nicely decorated Japanese restaurant. You can go for what many reviewers describe as "5 star" very expensive meal or choose to have just an average meal. If you want to try exotic, rare, expensive sashimi (about $9 for one slice) and order saki priced at well over $100 a bottle, then, I'm sure it's... More

No atmosphere, no bar. You are here for one reason, traditional japanese food. Hidden in a little strip of shops we were in out for a Saturday night dinner. Good sushi, kind staff, but nothing out of the ordinary to take me back.

My husband and I have been going to this restaurant nearly once a week since they opened in 2010. I am not sure what "Zuckie" is referring to when he says that the tuna tartare is like canned albacore. From the color of the tuna alone, he should know that it is impossible to be albacore. Norimaki only serves the... More

I frequently travel to Japan and Norimaki is still the best I have ever had when it comes to an authentic Japanese dishes especially their signature tofu and sushi. Chef's from Tokyo and his authentic recipes originated from Tokyo, so I'm honestly a little surprised to hear that Zuckie one of the reviewer was less than impressed with Norimaki's food.... More

Rarely (if ever) have I given such a bad review. My daughter and her boyfriend had heard good things about Norimaki so we took a trip to upstate CT. We also saw the rave reviews on Trip Advisor and read the NY a Times article on Norimaki. Sounded great! What should have warned me was we were the only ones... More

We are sorry if you found our meu to be a little confusing due to many unusual imported fishes flown from all over the globe Mr. Mark Zuckerman. We do not serve Ahi Tuna you probably saw it on our special list Aji which is a silver fish flown from the south of Japan which means 'taste' in Japanese due... More
