I had broiled scrod. It was tasteless. Someone else has poached eggs, hash browns and she said it was so salty she could not eat it. I would not recommend this diner to anyone. It was a complete disappointment

We watched as tables around us received their food. After repeated attempts to find out status of our order we walked out after 1.5 hrs. There was no interest/ apologies on their part. They were only interested in the payment for the coffee we had while waiting. The restaurant seemed very disorganized and poorly run. Very disappointing!

I used to visit this establishment frequently and then stopped going because the service was bad. I decided to give it another try. The menu is a typical diner menu with lots of choices. Their daily dinner specials are also very reasonable. For about $20, you can get soup/salad & potato & vegetable & main entree & dessert & drink.... More

We stopped there for dinner on the way home from the airport in Hartford. I was in the mood for a tuna sandwich and this one was great. A generous portion of tuna salad with a generous portion of sweet potato fries. I couldn't finish the fries so they are sitting in my fridge now.

This is a diner with a Greek/Mediterranean flair. We loved it. We were off the highway and in a rush and they were very accommodating. The kids wanted breakfast and got it and we wanted lunch and got it. The prices were downright cheap. My dinner meal came with everything and a great dessert of my choice. This is a... More

We went and the staff was friendly. The food was average at best. The pie slices were huge for their price. I have had better diner experiences but this would suffice if you are hungry.

I love a good diner as much as the next person so we were excited to get off the highway and try this one. Unfortunately, the food was simply horrible! The meatloaf was over cooked and had a very strange flavor to it. My wife was happy that she didn't end up getting sick after eating it. The pot roast... More

I was catching up with my sister in CT this past weekend and we stopped at the Town Line Diner for dinner and conversation. We were greeted by a very friendly host and sat in main dining room. Krystyna was our server and she totally rocks. Felt more like she was an extended sister of sorts. Anyhow, we got sandwiches... More

The last time I was at Town Line Diner was in February of 2015 after my change of command (Promotion) ceremony for my School's leadership corps (not part of the JROTC Program, just a student organization with paramilitary structure and organization) the food was excellent and they serve breakfast all day. the food is cooked fresh and is excellent
