First time I've ever been compelled to give 5 stars because the overall experience came together..a superb evening that evolved on a whim with a diverse menu, ample wines by the glass and expert guidance from Kyle who informed us with his opinions, descriptions and explanations. One of the most tantalizing menus I've read in ages. How do u choose?!... More

Brunch starts with cornbread served with a sweet butter sauce and just gets better from there! Our favorites are the "Full Southern Breakfast," and Eggs Benedict. Service is prompt and professional. Just be sure to make reservations: the place is hopping on Sundays!

Seriously. Everything we ate was perfect. To start, they bring corn break and maple butter to the table which was so good. A group of 4 shared 4 starters and each one of us enjoyed every bite. The chef came to talk to us a couple of times, explaining his process (like how do you quick fry a poached egg?!)... More

We've been fans of Bailey's Backyard since we discovered the restaurant over a year ago. This time we invited some friends of ours to dinner and Bailey's did not disappoint. From the unique menu featuring local ingredients, to the creative combinations of food that excite your palate, Bailey's is constantly going above and beyond to be creative, and it works!... More

I have been a fan of this place for years, and was worried when they revamped a few years ago. I needn't have been! The food is delicious as always, the ambiance is fabulous, and the service is great. I have been here for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, and a small gathering of 5, and it worked well... Rated one of the best restaurants in CT. Small charming atmosphere and gourmet cuisine. Expensive. Good for quiet evening.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Baileys on a snowy sunday afternoon. I had a delicious homemade roasted cauliflower soup and a yummy scallop po-boy sandwich and my wife had "one of the best" omelets she's ever had. And our servers were stellar.

Friendly, attentive staff with great cocktails and beer selection. Bailey's Backyard does a very good job of sourcing from area farms including Simpaug Farms. The restaurant felt cozy but had room split into two eating areas. We had the Quail Egg and braised cardoon salad - this is a Nordic-type dish and it was beautifully rendered with the sardines nicely... More

Had a lovely meal here - Sunday brunch on a cold winter day. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed some great sandwiches and perfect soups, all beautifully presented by a terrific, energetic server who provided excellent banter. Finished off with outstanding tea from a local shop and the only slightly disappointing part of the meal - the talked-about crumb... More

My wife attended a bridle shower in their back room and although the restaurant is cozy, the food and the service were excellent! It's not easy to please a group of thirty, but they did. There are tables for dinning and judging by the crowd, they have an excellent local following.
