Enjoyed a delicious dinner with my BFF. He had the short rib w/cavatelli special, his rating was 4 out of 5 stars. I was in the mood for a turkey club. It is huge, ate 1/4 & shared the rest with my bff for lunch the next day. I also had the sweet potato fries with chipotle aioli, yummy, loved... More

Great place for lunch or dinner. Choose either the downstairs pub atmosphere or the upstairs dining room. Wonderful salads, sandwiches and entrees! The best fried onion rings and great Reuben sandwiches. Don't forget the specials menu also!

I LOVE their French onion soup. And they have the best bloody mary's. All the food is really good and portions are ample. They are always busy for good reason.

My wife and I were in Old Saybrook, so we decided to have lunch here. She had the crab cake sandwich and she said it was delicious! I had the omelette of the day, with a gluten free roll, and mine was outstanding. You can order some sandwiches with a gluten free roll too.

I stopped into Penny Lane Pub & Restaurant for some soup while in town on business, and the French onion soup was wonderful! I also got some steamed spinach as a side, and that was good (though perhaps a bit salty for my taste). Everyone else in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying themselves, it was a very bright, clean... More

We stopped in on a cold night for a bite and were immediately welcomed by the warm atmosphere. The menu had lots of choices and the food was delicious. They also had several craft beers on draft. Our server was efficient and friendly and the food arrived hot and delicious.
