The Connecticut Shoreline has several excellent restaurants. This is not one of them, however. The food is gimmicky and uninspired.

The service was very good w/ out being over powering. Staff is friendly. Great bar food. We have eaten here several times and it never disappoints. There onion rings are excellent.

Of course you like the Beatles! Don’t miss Penny Lane Pub. Evening entertainment takes you back. Food and tap has old English favorites (e.g. fish and chips and Boddington ale) and today’s best apps (coconut shrimp). Moderately priced. Fresh and tasty. Casual. Reservations.

Enjoyed our dinner. We sat outside to enjoy the weather, but the inside is really cute. The food was good as was the service. Only misstep was their risotto. Horrible flavor but otherwise a good meal.

I would recommend calling ahead. It's a cozy pub, seating is limited.
