We had decided to go to Dads over Flanders Fish Market, that was a mistake. It was only the second day open and they already were flustered and couldn't figure out what they were doing. First of all, our number got called so we went to the window where you would expect to have your full order ready. Ours was... More

What a disappointment..my first visit since they opened this year. They always had the best fried clams around. Tonight I got a pint of clams to go with an order of fries. Clams were over cooked, tiny, crumbly and gritty and dry , for $20.00 I would expect more, not less. If this is the poor quality of food at... More

Had the fish and chips. Fish appeared and tasted like it came from a package of frozen fish you would buy at the supermarket, not fresh fish like you would expect at a shoreline restaurant..Skimpy portions of fries and they give you 4 onion rings. Potatoes and onions must be costly.Definately not worth the price charged, but not good at any... More

As a local, I try Dad's once a season. I'm writing this post first big snow storm of the year, lamenting summer. Admittedly, it's always disappointing. The menu and service and feel of the place is quintessential New England clam shack. The food is just not that great. Lobster fritters (ordered annually) are always a disappointment, the butter they are... More

Large selection of meals, snacks at a pleasant indoor/outdoor spot. Unfortunately the rating above does not allow for good, above average but below very good.

Have been here a few times.Food is very good.Has a nice view of the ocean.Since they aren't open all year I wish they would open the restaurant to have a patio instead of closed in.Average price for seafood.competitive with other local places.

There were 7 of us, 2 couples celebrating anniversaries so it was a special occasion. I was so disappointed that the only thing on the menu that was Gluten free was the salad. Everyone else enjoyed their meal, the portions were huge. The prices were a little steep but for the amount of food you get it was on the... More

We had the whole clams, scallops and onion rings. Clams were very bland. Scallops were just ok. Had clam strips and shrimp earlier in the day at Mystic Seaport and they were great. For the price we expected much better. Will not be going back.

Just the right place for a great sandwich, hamburger, or hotdog. Their french fries are excellent as is their friendly service. Our personal favorites are their grilled chicken or salmon sandwich and ice cream.
