As the title says, outstanding! My wife and I went to The Bistro while on a three day getaway and were not disappointed. We started with the romaine salad, which was prepared superbly. I then had the paella, which, if you are ever in New London, you should not miss. My wife had the braised short ribs which were equally... More

Our old favorite restaurant has closed so we were in the neighborhood looking and found this gem. Thanks Trip Advisor reviewers! Better than expected. Amazing tastes. You won't be sorry.

My beef short ribs arrived looking like a bland over cooked stew. The meat had not been braised first just cooked with potatoes and vegetables and served in an almost clear liquid. Totally unappetizing. I asked the waitress to return it and she was gracious. I then ordered the pork chop. After all 4 of my friends had completely finished... More

A small restaurant with big flavor & great service. The chef came to our table and asked if we enjoyed the food. We did - from start to finish.

Casual atmosphere, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Excellent food. I went specifically for the paella and it exceeded my expectations.

Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, Food was very good, given - it appeared, only 1 person working in the Kitchen. We had Paella (one was enough for 2 people with an entree) which was beautiful. Nice selection of wine, and good dessert choice.

Dined at The Bistro for the first time last night. We were accompanied by another couple. Excellent food and service (although face-painted in celebration of the Halloween season). Really enjoyed the paella. Will definitely go back.

Dave's Signature Paella was out of this world. The whole table was impressed with the taste and quality of the food. The restaurant was packed providing a fun and enjoyable local vibe. Owners and staff appear to be committed to providing excellent service, quality/locally sourced food and really improving the New London culture scene. Overall, great place for families, drinks... Upon entering the restaurant we were skeptical. The decor was dark and uninviting. However, the food turned out to be fabulous! The Fra Diavolo was fresh and very flavorful. The fettuccine was cooked perfectly and a traditional creme brûlée was the end to an amazing meal. The loss of one star was primarily from the dated and dark decor.

The food, drinks, and service were wonderful. I had the pork chops which were probably the best I have had. Others the shrimp, chicken and the seafood taco. Everyone was very pleased. Highly recommend this restaurant
