This coffee shop has been around for years way before Starbucks was ever heard of. They have a nice selection of coffees and teas and plenty of goodies to munch on. There's a few locations throughout the city in New Haven and they're all just...More
Simply the best coffee in Connecticut. Iced French roast is as good as it gets in the summer time. Try the special and super special roast hot coffees in the winter. Prompt friendly service. Great locations. Far less annoying customers than Starbucks and much better...More

They roast their own coffee and get deliveries every day. Every employee knows their coffee, and can help you when you get to the bean wall. I have been a occasional regular for 16 years, still the best coffee retailers around.
Willoughby's is a great little coffee shop with two locations that I am aware of in New Haven. Their coffee is great and a variety of blends. Their pastries just add to the experience. Stop in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
It is a small tiny place, but if you get here in time and get a spot, you'll have good coffee and a place to study
Maybe it was the luck of the draw, but on my last visit I was served what will rank as the best latte I have had, anywhere. The quality of the accompanying food is first-rate as well.
