Small quaint restaurant. We were seated and our waitress Sara came over she was outstanding knowledgeable great personality and a great sense of humor! The food was outstanding the meatballs are a must! The lasagna was delicious also the homemade cavatellis will make us go back. Risotto balls were small but very good. Drinks very expensive. I cannot say enough... More

In town to watch the NCAA Women's tourney, we were craving Italian food. As northerners living in Atlanta, we lack for good Italian. This was exactly what we were looking for. Authentic Italian food in an authentic Italian setting. Attentive staff...Theo was awesome! Calamari and Arancini cooked to perfection. The sauce tasted like home! Can't say enough about how much... My 12 year old son and I dined here last night. We were greeted at the door very warmly and seated immediately. Service throughout the evening was excellent and friendly. The ownership has paid great attention to detail. The bread was delivered hot and delicious with quality olive oil. Our meals were first rate. This restaurant has an extremely nice... More

Food is simply delicious. Restaurant is not too big, not too small and very tasteful. The tastiest parts are on the menu. I have been here several times and never felt the trip and money were not worth it.

I had posted a review after my wife and I had visited last year. Well we found ourselves in the new haven area again, and of course we had to go back. As always having only been to a restaurant one time we wonder if it was a fluke, perhaps they were just on their best that day? Well I... More

Great food!! One of the best Italian restaurants in New Haven Ct, not that there are many bad ones. This restaurant has everything you need. Good food, good wine, good deserts, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Call ahead as they are usually very busy! Enjoy🎈

Any restaurant sandwiched between Sally's APizza and Frank Pepe has to be good so we went, for the first time, to Consiglio's. We were a party of four with a reservation and were warmly greeted promptly seated when we arrived. The restaurant is well lit (no need to turn on my flashlight app) and warmly appointed so it felt very... More

It is rare these days for the food, ambiance and service to all be excellent! This was our first experience at Consiglio's but we will be back. I had a winter salad with fennel, radicchio and salmon. It had an excellent citrus based dressing. I am all about eating something different and this fit the bill. My husband, on the... More

Visited with two other individuals. All of our meals were rather standard fare – veal parmigiana, lasagna, and linguine with meatballs – but each was of exceptional quality. This restaurant has been in business for more than 70 years and it shows in very positive ways – excellent food, attentive service, and charming ambience. The spices chosen for the meatballs...
