My son and his wife took my wife and I there Sunday afternoon. We've been to their restaurant in Madison and unlike that place, this one is a sit down restaurant with a full staff of waiters who actually take your order and bring the meals to you. The waiter we had was quick and efficient. The portions were large... More

We ordered two appetizers. One would be plenty. The two would have worked for 4 or 5 people. The fried jalapenos were twice the quantity I expected. Lobster tail was good. So was the scrod. Service was efficient and friendly. No rushing of guests is obviously their motto. We spent 69.00 out the door and could not finish our dinners.... More

After having tried the Westbrook restaurant, we were delighted to tried the newer and larger Fish Tale in New Haven. The parking lot by the water is an assets given the difficulty with parking in the city. There are many sitting choices and this is a family friendly place. The menu is all bout fish but there are some meat... More

When you spend the day at the beach, a stop at Lenny s & Joes is a given. You can't just drive by. The only negative is do you get the fish n chips, or the fried clams. Maybe the steamed Lobster. .or the fisherman's platter? ??? The best thing to do is to make up your mind before you... More

Food was good. Our waitress was also good. The hostess was nice. Didn't really understand that we wanted to sit outside. When leaving, the host/guy at the hostess both, was very very rude. Wasn't friendly at all. We've been to the other lenny and joes, never had an experience like this. Wouldn't recommend the new haven facility.

It's on the water, but also close to I-95, so some waterside tables are bestttsr than others. Many indoor tables as well. Not a fancy restaurant, and they don't take reservations, so there can be a bit of a wait sometimes, but the service is friendly and prompt, the raw oysters are very good and very reasonably priced (shame on... Excellent experience all around! Great, friendly waiter, great food! We had the clam chowder, delish! I had the fried Oyster dinner with fries..Perfection! Excellent tartar sauce and Cole slaw. All 4 of us had a great dinner .. can't wait to go back and sit outside in warmer weather! Nicely decorated.

Nice views from New Haven's Long Wharf, with HUGE variety of fish dishes and HUGE portions. Popular specialties include fried clams (with their proprietary batter -- and choice of strips or bellies; most restaurants only serve strips and don't know the succulent difference), super fish and chips, and a variety of casseroles (scallops, lobster, etc.), and a wide array of...
