My wife and I stopped by on a break from the art museum loved this place, though more as a "thing to do" than as a "restaurant." It's a grocery/deli. The incredible variety of Polish food, labeled in Polish, with everyone speaking Polish, was amazing. It was fun just walking around. We picked up some random items: sweet-spicy-sour pickles (delicious),... More

Took the 40 minute drive to get some "authentic" Polish paczki's. Been to Roly Poly before and was pleased with pretty much everything. Not so today. We bought a half dozen of the infamous Polish doughnuts. There was as much filling in them as you could fit on the end of a Q-Tip! Hardly a whisper of filling. Awful. Why... More

Went here several weeks ago on the advise of a stranger outside of another currently closed polish restaurant. This man did not steer us wrong. He said if you want the best Polish food around go to Roly Poly. He was spot on! It was a huge grocery type store with a hot food menu as well. The staff was... More

Bought a chunk of liverwurst and noticed it was discolored grey on one end. It was definitely rancid when we made a sandwich. I can't believe they sold that, someone could get very sick.

Heard that this was the store to visit in Little Poland for great food and they were 100 0/0 correct. Smoked meats, cheeses, jarred pickles and salads, cookues, candies and REAL rye bread and Hard Rolls. In love with this Place

just purchased a slab of walnut cake from Roly Poly and it was simply delicious. The Cake was moist and filled with ground walnuts. The frosting was a very delicious, smooth and velvety butter cream and the exterior of the cake was studded with chopped walnuts. Everyone raved about it. All the cakes are wonderful but try this one in... More

This place is great and is an amazing opportunity to get fresh Polish food as well as imports that are hard to find elsewhere. Most of the staff speak only Polish (not uncommon throughout "Little Poland" in New Britain), so if you don't speak it just look for one of the younger bilingual employees.

Polish dry goods, candies and a large assortment of beers are here too. They have a small seating area in the front of the store to sit and eat. Very nice... More
