For years I was a fan of the Cracovia on Broad Street. After months of delays the new location is open. The availabe parking is wonderful and the new interior is inviting. The same tired menu however is still there but prices are higher and the portions are noticeably smaller. There was no vegetable side dish for any of the... More

Cracovia moved from "Little Poland" in New Britain, CT to a new location in Plainville after many months of postponed target dates for reopening. We went to the new restaurant a few days after it reopened. When we arrived it was very busy and there was only one table and a booth set aside for reservations. The restaurant was freezing... More

Ths restaurant has a new address - 994 West Main Street in New Britain CT. On our first visit - the restaurant was closed about to open in a week. We went back two weeks later - the atmosphere is very casual and the walls contain lots of Polish Memorabilia which is very interesting. The menu is varied and we... More

1st time visit, I understand that the restraunt moved from Broad Street to this location (994 West Main St) so it took a few minutes to find it as it is not in the "Little Poland" area of Broad Street. I had the Nalesniki Z Serem aka Cheese Blintz Good size portion & filled with cheese. I will definitely be... More

A quick trip here for lunch is just what the Doctor ordered if you want Polish food. Blitzes and pierogi with onions and butter was great.

Polish food cooked to perfection. Generous portions. I love taking friends on their first visit to Cracovia so I can watch them lean back in bleary-eyed satisfaction, having been unable to resist eating just a little bit too much. I know the term "comfort food" is way overused, but it's a perfect description here. I should say that the proprietors... More
