If your visiting Mystic and looking for something better than the free cereal and stall donuts the hotel offers, then try Cafe 511. We had our doubts when we arrived, but the food and service made it worthwhile. We were greeted by people who clearly were much more awake than we were and very cheerful. I had a delicious 3... Don't pass this little place by! Fresh made bagels and rolls....make for interesting breakfast sandwiches...there are home fries on the 2 egg, bacon sandwich, definitely a different taste...but a good one, coffee is pretty good too and not too expensive for the sizes of the portions.

I'm a merchant who sometimes just can't make it out for lunch so we call & order lunch. My favorite is the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap the only problem I have is it so large I usually can only eat half.

I try to go there whenever I am driving through downtown Mystic. Excellent choice of bagels, spreads, lox and sandwiches. The owners are great members of our Mystic community and it is a pleasure to do business with them. Put down that big chain coffee and doughnut and shop local. Go to Cafe 511. I recommend the Hobo on a... More

Easy casual dinning in a new clean cafe setting. Food was served on disposable plates and plasticware also offers Gluten free menu as well. My son and I had a great inexpensive meal while visiting Mystic. Charming downtown area too which they let us leave our car in their lot while we walked around town.

I had the omelette, which was great. The place is a seat yourself deal. It was pretty busy with mostly locals coming in and out for bagels. Recommended!

We were referred by Capt Eric of Mystic River Cruises and glad we stopped by. Once we solved the Order Here Area to the right (user error)...the line for pick-up/pay was to the door and moved quickly, nice selection of bagels and nice breakfast menu, sit in, outside or hey bring it to Mystic River Cruise boat slip and eat... We stopped for breakfast. Food was excellent, just what we ordered. Great coffee. Service was beyond expectation for a cafe.

We stopped in for a coffee and a quick breakfast. My wife had a muffin and I ordered a bagel sandwich. The food was very good and staff were friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast was Average to Good, shop is small with limited seating inside and out. One section takes your order, you need to repeat your order to a separate cashier and stand there until your order is ready. They just yell out the food type when ready - system unorganized. Suggestion: I think if they would take the persons name the... More
