I shared the freshly caught sea bass ,it was seasoned well and came with a wonderful selection of vegetables including brocolli and carrots. Our friends loved the pork and steak dishes, all served with selections of roast potatoes, veg and chips. Its great to have Santo Amaro...in our town,a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner. The staff are helpful and friendly,I would highly recommend a visit ..or two..More

A lovely relaxing evening with good friends. The food and the presentation was excellent - main dishes were all served with a good selection of vegetables. The overall service was first class- we were all served our meals at the same time 👍. The decor...and lighting was spot on. Can’t fault it and we will definitely be back 😊. Thank you to management and staff who are working hard to provide a good ‘dining experience’ during Covid restrictions.More

I ate at Santo Amaro twice during my short visit to Sertã. The food is classic, traditional and extremely tasty! Staff are light-hearted / friendly. A fine dining treat not to be missed when in central Portugal region. The space is beautiful, perfect for couples...or groups looking for an elegant meal Be sure to try the Bucho + Maranho - regional classicsMore

We ate here 4 times during a 2 week stay in Serta. A massive thank you to Tony who patiently went through the menu with us each time and was so friendly and helpful. The fish soup is the best in the area!! We can...also recommend the cod pie and veal stew. The pasta and fish meal was huge!! Lovely desserts too. Would totally recommend.More

The staff and management were very professional, courteous, patient and competent on a very busy evening. The food provided was excellent, the fish soup was a meal in itself and deserves the accolades it has received. We will be returning on a regular basis.

Santo Amaro was one of the best places we at throughout all of Portugal. This Michelin star restaurant gave us a refined experience of local cuisine along with an elegant dining experience. The service was friendly and professional with great english. Honestly, everything we ate...was great and we were so surprised at how cheap it was for the quality. Try the Fish soup, Maranho and BuchoMore

My partner and I went to Santo Amaro on our first night in the beautiful Sertã. We were wanting a taste of authentic central Portugal and this is definitely the place to go! The tasting starter of maranho was incredible, nothing like anything I’ve ever...eaten before, and I definitely recommend ordering the fish soup. We then ordered a bottle of wine and a plate of homely cooked veal to share and it’s safe to say we were stuffed to the brim! Being a Michelin Star restaurant we were apprehensive about the bill, but were pleasantly shocked at how cheap it was to eat a full 3 course meal here! The staff were lovely and attentive and I can’t wait to come back and visit again in the futureMore

As french a quisine as you can go in Serta, without losing its local flavour. A more calm place, compared to the noise of the otehr Places in town, and very alert and competent staff. Also the best wine list in town, at very good...prices. If you only have one evening dining out in Serta, this is the place to go. And you will still be astonished at how small the bill ends up.More

We were treated here to a five course dinner that was absolutely delicious but almost more than we could consume. The fish soup was wonderful, almost a meal in itself. We also had fish, then chicken, then dessert. We came back the next night because...we so enjoyed our first dinner there. However, we took care to order less!More
