4 of us attended a wine dinner at Max Amore on the patio. The food and the wine were excellent as was the service. We have been to dinner here a number of times and had an excellent experience each time.

Start with the great (RI style) calamari, with very good marinara and remoulade and fried peppers. My wife loves the Max a Penne. The menu changes seasonally and some favorites are gone (roasted eggplant), but in general the food is always good with a mix...More

My wife enjoyed the swordfish, which was a special, very much. I would endorse the potato gnocchi. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with wine selections. The only criticism (not mine) is that it could use a few more items for folks who do...More

You can get steak, lamb, and italian dishes. No fried scallops as a main dish but I have had an appetizer with fried scallops and calmari however it varies.
