We were looking for a local (non-chain) restaurant in which to have dinner with our son-in-laws folks so we checked Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased and will definitely go back in the future. The menu selections are extensive, and the prices are very reasonable. We had excellent service and chatted a few... More

The food was great. Wait staff was great, asking if everything was ok, removing empty plates promptly. Owner came around saying hello and asking if everything was ok.

My wife and I choose to try Applewood based on a friends recommendation. When we pulled into the lot, we thought they were closed because there was only 1 or 2 cars in the lot. This was a Saturday afternoon (4:00PM) in October. We were going to the Witches Dungeon Museum, right at the Bristol Historical Society. When we entered,... More

We walked in for lunch and five employees shouted hello. We sure felt welcome. That day we had lunch. The chicken salad sandwich was stuffed with lots of chicken. A side of fries was huge and tasty. My husband had a Ruben which he said was very good. After that greeting, we went for dinner. They have many early bird... More

I ordered a prime rib here about 15 years ago that was incredibly good and I believe it was priced at just $9.99 which I thought was a very good price. The entire meal was better than what I have had at much more expensive restaurants. It is not very fancy but, the food is great and so are the... More

Service was excellent and food was good for the price. Decor could be freshened up but other than that a great place to eat

Order in Italian cone omelette made with egg whites. This omelette is made with 3 eggs sausage peppers onions and mushrooms & mozzarella cheese. The home fries was nothing special. I also ordered rye toast, which was buttered as soon as it came out of the toaster. I had also ordered grape-nut custard this was very delicious and the custard... More

A restaurant with diner food where you can go after church or to met friends and talk. Generally and older crowd or families with kids. Good honest food ... no frills. We love the breakfast fare and meet friends, as you can relax and talk and do not feel rushed. Great sandwiches, panini and good daily specials (soup and vegetable... More

Went here for dinner tonight. Had the Open Turkey sandwich, which came with Mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, salad, and warm bread. Everything was hot and tasted excellent and portions too large to finish. Service was also excellent. Will definitely be going back!
