The food was amazing, so many choices you keep questioning what to get. So good. The staff were very friendly and prompt.

Love the food here - particularly the chicken fried steak and fried pickles! The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, however. Just feels cheap.
I always enjoy Fontenot's ,but their brunch is fabulous. The menu has good variety and everything sounds delicious. I have a tough time making a choice. Try the Crab Cake Bennie or the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and Andouille gravy. If you have a sweet tooth have a side of bread pudding beignets. Last week my husband and I... More
Showed up around 4 after a day of skiing. Not much of a crowd at that time. Sue, our waitress, provided us with both the Happy Hour menu and the regular menu. We ordered the Cuban Po'boy, Asian Nachos, and Fried Green Tomatoes off the Happy Hour menu along with a local craft beer and their house margarita known as... More
Don't call yourself a Cajun restaurant if you don't know the difference between etouffee and gumbo. I ordered the gumbo but got etouffee. It was just 'ok', nothing to write home about and I wanted gumbo. This is a really cute and clean restaurant but be ready for high prices. My husband ordered shrimp and they were shrimp, at least!

What I did not expect is the gumbo I ordered to taste and look the same as the sauce/soup of bouillabaisse. From my perspective they... More
We took our 3 teenage boys to dinner here and it was great food, but the boys got back to the condo and were hungry. I wish my husband and I would have just gone here on a date and enjoyed a glass of wine and a nice meal...without the kids.
