We are committed to smoking 100% all natural meats using pesticide-free Hickory wood 7 days a week for both Lunch and Dinner, We specialize in catering for large groups that want to impress their guests. Our Founder Jason Ganahl has a background in Competitive BBQ. When he moved to Colorado in 2007 he sought smoked meats that reminded him of his home in Missouri and started judging professional BBQ contests, after judging for a couple of years Jason began competing and then winning. Jason has won several KCBS Grand and Reserve Grand Championships, 180's & 700's. Claiming stake to RMBBQA team of the year, winning the US's 3rd largest contest and being inducted into the RMBBQA Hall of Fame. GQue knows what it takes to be a champion and what it takes is what we are all about. Constantly improving to make the very best hands down BBQ. Its what drives us, what forces us to be our own harshest critic.

Friendly staff and delicious food!

Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. My husband and I both got the pulled pork sandwich. The apple slaw was delicious on the sandwich along with both the savory and spicy BBQ sauces. The French fries were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. We are from out of state, but will be sure to eat here again the next time we're in Colorado!

Holy Moly BBQ

I received a marketing offer from the business and I'm so glad I followed through with it. I got The Carolina sandwich and I was SO pleased. The meat was amazing, SO tender!! Usually when I get bbq meat there's always little strings stuck in my teeth from having to over chew the meat. That didn't happen here. I also got a side of mac-n-cheese and that was worth it too. Sometimes the noodles get too mushy for my personal preference at bbq restaurants , but it was perfect here!

Best BBQ in the area!

Best BBQ in the area! Everything is good. My favs are the Wings, Brisket and pulled pork. The Mac and cheese is simple but addictive. Get a mix of meats and a bag of their sandwich buns! Make some at home sandwiches!

Really bad service

Really bad service. I placed a order and the server/cashier didn’t do my order right. The waitress called my name and she handed me a bag with a small food container which was jus less than a half of my order. I told them that that bag wasn’t my complete order. They didn’t care about checking my order. And I asked for the corn bread that usually come with the plate and the guy told me with a high tone that they never serve corn bread. Really bad experience and bad service

An employee cut himself. The manager took over the carving station, kept cutting meat with the same knife(that hadn't been sanitized), on the same cutting board that had been bled on, and served it to customers. WTF?! Never gonna eat there again.

Really Bad BBQ

When we picked up our food it’s sitting out on a table with a lot of other bags. This restaurant is not keeping their food at a food safe temp. The food was cold and soggy. The meat was extremely fatty, the bbq sauce was watered down. This was really bad food.

Like eating cardboard

Overpriced charge for dry bland meat. Was like chewing cardboard pulp. I never use bbq sauce, but had to drench this meal in it just to taste something. I thought I might have contracted covid. Staff was nice...otherwise one star

Great BBQ!!

We went to GQue BBQ in Westminster and glad we did. They had some of the best BBQ we have ever had. Great Brisket, Chicken & Ribs. I really liked the seasoning they use & bought some to take home. I would highly recommend eating here in the Denver/Westminster area.

Whomever said the meat was dry is cray cray. It is a little pricey.. 45 for lunch for two. Super friendly and really really good. We had 2 different meats, both .oist amd tasty.

Great BBQ!

Love the sauce at GQ and how the prepare your dish on the spot. I usually pick up my order but the do have a small dining area. Good Mac cheese too!

Very tasty bbq sandwiches. Large portions. Service was very quick. My only complaint was that the prices were a bit high. Gets crowded at lunchtime. Great baked beans. Didn’t care for the apple slaw, though.

Not so much..too bad

Ordered on DoorDash at 6:25pm, apparently they close at 7 (according to DoorDash) but for a to go order, that shouldn’t be a big deal. They called and said they were out of Brisket, no problem “we will take turkey”. They guy asks, “are you sure you don’t want to cancel the order?”. We got turkey instead, which is $1 less per order, no refund but whatever. Anyways, food gets there, no bbq sauce. It’s a bbq restaurant, it’s kinda important. I ordered a side salad, the salad smelled like blue cheese. The issue with that? There’s no blue cheese. So basically it smelled like mildew. Gross. $3.25 in the trash. What we had was decent but worth going back when I feel like I overpaid for missing stuff and trash items? Ehhhh, probably not.

Good sandwiches skip dessert

The bbq sandwiches are really good and very filling. Bun is buttery and soft. I like the apple slaw. The pulled pork is slightly dry. The pickled onions are very strong and a nice palate cleanser. Cherry cheesecake was a miss. The cherries reminded me of cherry cough syrup. Luxardo cherries would have the game up more than a notch. Chocolate topping was just strange. Overall good bbq joint. Fast friendly service.
