This is hands down one of the best Asian restaurants I have been to. The food was great. The sashimi and sushi were amazing. There was one roll that was a house specialty that was not on the menu, and this roll was the best I have ever had. The service was impeccable. Bobby was our waiter and, he was... More

Took my family there over Thanksgiving while in Vail... my parents and mother-in-law were skeptical of the menu, as they are more traditional diners (meat and a side). Anyway, our Waiter was very helpful and got us going... got a couple of things out quickly for our kids (8 and 11)... and we all agreed it was the best meal... More

We so enjoyed ourselves and the atmosphere sophisticated and warm. We enjoyed plate after plate of appetizers and sushi roles. Adam our server was a dream and very helpful and informative. Even though they were extremely busy we were not rushed and stayed and enjoyed for 2 hours. Highly recommend a visit when in Vail.

I usually eat here once or twice a year. It is very expensive. but, the food is simply marvelous. I suggest the omakase which is a multi course tasting. It is the chef's suggestion/selection. We came early season so it was 5 courses- plenty of food- and $40 per person. During hi season, it is much more pricy but there... More

Our second visit to this sushi paragon. Always fresh and tasty. We sampled a bit of everything. Superb service. Can be a wallet buster if you get carried away. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy sushi.

What a great blend of Japanese and Puruvian. Try the lamb chop with ANTICUCHI sauce, a Latin delight. The shrimp tempura was lovely and light. I had the sliced tenderloin, noodle soup with ginger. Sushi was so fresh and great balance of flavor and texture. The chocolate lava cake with green tea ice cream was wonderful creamy finish on the... More

Located at the Solaris building, the food is spectacular and the service was on point. Even before I needed anything, they were there to take care of our table. The menu is extensive, but what my guest and I did was order ALL the appetizers. They had a deal of 5 appetizers for $42, so we ordered all of them... More

High end and stylish, Matsuhisa is a nice choice for a memorable dinner for 2, or 12. We tried the black cod appetizer. Very unusual, and very good. The Hendricks Garden is spicy, refreshing and unlike your standard cocktail beverage. Tempura was tasty, but pieces are large. Sashimi combination dinner had a wide selection of modest size pieces but was... More

Don't know why this place showed up on our bucket list. Possibly because a family member went here a couple years prior and was raving about it. In any case we were at Vail in October and thought we'd try it. I made reservations a few weeks in advance for a 5pm dinner. The Trip advisor times are wrong. They... More
