This place is a little off the beaten path...definitely a 'locals' scene! Trust your GPS...it's not taking you out to the boonies...just down a few back streets to the best burger you'll have on the whole trip! If you're in town for breakfast, you should try their country fried steak & eggs. GREAT! Coffee is strong & hot, too...

Way off the well traveled highways, this place is hamburger heaven and worth the effort to find. The burgers are fresh ground beef, not some frozen preformed pattie. The Santa Fe has two cheeses, long green chilies, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. Heaven between a bun. The meat is flame grilled giving it a nice flavor. French fries are... More

We decided to eat here for breakfast. It was easy to find with the GPS, but lots of turns. When we walked in there were no visible seats available, but the waitress said there were some in the back. This looks like a converted house, but there are lots of tables. There seemed to be only one waitress for the... More

We lunched here on way home after motorcycle trip to Pikes Peak. The food was very good; the best Chicken Fried Steak I've had in a long time. The restaurant was really busy but the service was very prompt and we were out and back on our way quickly.

Awesome local breakfast atmosphere! It was a little off the beaten path but you see the personality of Trinidad by this route! Great breakfast with good ole' Colorado hospitality! They kept the coffee cup full! Good experience and will definitely go back.

None of our food was "home cooking" frozen chicken fried steak and cod fillets, instant mashed potatoes, and mixed baggies out of a can...I truly feel sorry for whoever thinks this is good food! Please come to Texas sometime and enjoy a real home cooked meal!

No flash, no spash. Just plain home cooking. Hamburger steak, chicken fried steak, ham, roast beef, a bunch of different sandwiches and hamburgers, etc. (And breakfast too but we never get there that early). Probably my favorite place. West of town a little ways but worth it.

Great food at a good value, friendly staff - I don't know what the "only likes locals" reviewer was talking about - one of three restaurants in Trinidad I'd eat at again, so far.

Excellent breakfast burritos with green chili. Even for lunch. Quick service so we could get on the road again. We knew it would be a winner when the firefighters walked in.
