Stopped by on our way from Denver for a quick breakfast. Friendly, pleasant, and delicious. Old time feel. Small diner with a bar at one end. Tasty and simple. Definitely recommended.

After a long trip to Trinidad we decided to stop by What a Grind. We were served the Best Bloody Mary! Food was good as well along with the friendly staff. Ordered Chai Tea to go and it's the best Chai Tea I've ever had!

I arrived at this cute coffee shop during what seemed to be busy lunch time. It seemed very hectic but we were attended to quickly. The menu is great and the coffee even better. I had a turkey sandwich that literally tasted expensive it was great! My friend then ordered but they were out of his first 2 choices, but... More

We ate here one evening when most everything else was closed. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was very satisfying. It would be good to order and pick as well, but the atmosphere was inviting.

I was attending a meeting in Trinidad and we were to go on Main Street to meet for lunch. Not only was one place closed but the other as well Earlier in the day we had stopped a fellow and asked him where he got his coffee and he told us What a Grind. Well we went there and were... More

Wow, this place is great. The burrito and pannus are super. Old time charm and down home friendly. I will be back.

We came into the café on a Saturday afternoon. It was not busy and we were able to wind down a bit from the trip. My friend got a Black and orange beer...Guinness and Henry's hard orange soda. It was awesome watching the bartender pour the Guinness slowly using a spoon. The end result was a layered beer that tasted... More

The food was really good. The service however, eh. Being from out of town, we just walked in and sat down. We waited a bit before we were helped. There was no sign stating "wait to be seated". Even after we got our food, we never got refills. There were a couple other tables in the restaurant (locals I assume)... More

Milk was over steamed, too hot to enjoy a simple cappuccino. Building was very nice, Trinidad has a neat downtown area. Did not eat there so no opinion. Waitress was nice, but was not trained.

First, to be fair... the food tasted very good. Unfortunately, everything else was "terrible". Here are the highlights: - We ordered a bison burger sunrise (burger with fried egg) and a pulled pork sandwich. The pork sandwich came with a side of potato salad. While eating the potato salad, I discovered a metal shaving in mouth. I brought this to... More
