Had dinner at Cosmo. Incredible service, perfect food, nice wine list. Husband had fish stew, the best ever!! I had lamb shank Osso bucco . Subtle flavors, tender, mouthwatering. One of the best restaurants we've been to anywhere. Don't miss it...

Standing outside we read the menu. My husband was hesitant to enter until a dinner sitting out side spoke up and simply said, we would be missing out on a great meal. The food was heavenly. Every taste to be savored!

We found the waiter to be knowledgeable and helpful and the menu very well presented. The wine list is good and when my single glass of white (the rest of the group drinks red) came a bit corked they didn't hesitate to replace it.

The upscale nature of this restaurant can lend itself to a bit of pretentiousness & phoniness on the part of the service. Atmosphere is not too relaxed. Food is great though a bit overpriced. Atmosphere just ok. View out of windows of street traffic, foot...More

Once a grand saloon in the thriving mining camp of Telluride, The Cosmopolitan is now home to the fresh, innovative creations of Chad Scothorn, who has received national attention and praise for his original, fresh approach to food preparation. Serving dinner nightly, this elegantly simple 80 seat restaurant is located in the newly remodeled luxurious Hotel Columbia at the base of the Gondola. Known locally as "Cosmo", the custom cherry wood bar is the perfect place to unwind. In the summer, the west patio lounge is a refreshing outdoor dining experience.
