We went for Happy Hour: $2 Sessions, Truffle Fries and a great view of the lower Ski Mountain. However after watching / smelling so much good food be delivered to other patrons my wife and I decided to stay for dinner and we are glad we did!!!! We had the Pork Chops & Salmon. The pork was cooked perfectly and... More

The owner Scott is wonderful. So is the staff. They are all personable and professional. The food is delicious! Atmosphere and decor is relaxing and gives a warm cozy feeling. The outdoor seating and firepits are awesome. Definately will come back again. Great experience and most memorable for sure :-)

Though we enjoyed the food and the excellent service, we won't be back. Our party of six was seated beneath a five foot tall photo painting of two 45 caliber handguns that dominated the dining room. This meant that three of us had to stare down the barrels of 2 guns for the evening. Very unappetizing! The 2 veterans in... More

Only came here for drinks after skiing, but it was a nice location. No view of the mountain but off the beaten path and good service.

We enjoyed the food (and the service) here. One quick observation is that this restaurant is trying to be everything to everybody. It has a thriving happy hour, serves burgers, has a children's menu and yet is also offering a more upmarket selection for dinner. On the whole it is successful, probably because of its location, and we would return.... More

HI Alison, You are absolutely correct in saying that we are trying to be everything to everyone. Although, despite the location, the restaurant floundered in the first few years because it was only geared to one type of consumer. We changed things up about 4 years ago when we reengineered the menu, changed the culture and enhanced the ambiance. We... More

We all ordered meals that were more expensive than what you got. There was only one of us out of the four who enjoyed their meal, and it was the burger. And I will admit, it is one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. So if you're going to the truffle pig, the key is to order a burger... More

Me and my family went here 4 days out of the 7 we were in Steamboat! It really is that good. They have a great area out front by the fire for happy hour, and the food inside was yummy. I fell in love with their smoked old fashion cocktail...the truffle fries are amazing too!

Nice location at the bottom of the ski resort. Excellent for apres ski. We had dinner. On the pricey side, but food was good. Truffle fries were great. Kids meals were expensive considering they were a la carte. My wife had the ravioli which was unique and excellent.

Very family friendly. Great cocktails and excellent food. The double pork chop was pricey for Steamboat standards but well worth it. I would definitely come back again.

Had dinner here twice on 2 different trips. I had hoped that the second time would be better than the first, it wasn't. It is very convenient to go to since it is at the base of the gondola.. Our waitress was snooty to us, and not very attentive. Food was average. My salmon was served warm , not hot.... More
