Nice place to stop for lunch! We had a variety of items: elk burger, cheeseburger, fish, and chicken baskets. All was very good! We come every time we come through South Fork. Don't forget to grab a shake or malt before leaving!

We stopped for lunch because we were staying in the area and thought we would give it a try. Earlier in this season I did a review on the "Burger Boy" in Cortez, CO. We were hoping for another good ole diner home made burger. I can say the food was good and service was friendly but quite slow for... More

I was in town for business for a few day's, I stopped in here for lunch and was amazed at what a nice little old town malt shop this was. I had there Jalapeño cheese burger. It was very tasty but still a little on the rare side. There home made fries were nice and yummy, so was there selection... More

If you are looking for quality fast food, stop here! When traveling through S. Fork, we try to time a lunch stop or an ice cream snack stop here. We have never been disappointed during the seasonal time when they are open. The last time we visited was Sept. 2015 just before they closed for the season. We just passed... More

Food is good, reasonable prices, and this restaurant is very popular during the summer. It is always crowded.

Great burgers shakes and fries, little pricey but it is very good food. Burgers are old fashion and cooked after you order if your in a hurry better move on, we thought it was well worth the wait.

Loved the burgers and fries. I had the bison burger and it was amazing! Great chocolate malt! Wonderful service and love the old fashion atmosphere.

We arrived here in the middle of a gully washer and appreciated the canopy over some of the picnic tables. The burgers were o.k., the pastrami was too salty for our taste, but the chili on the chili dogs was very good and the pulled pork sandwiches was also tasty. The price for the shakes seemed high but were comparable... More

Yeah, I know that's a cheesy review title, but the malt shop is so good! It features a typical burgers-and-fries type menu, but with the added bonus of my personal favorite, elk and bison burgers, which are more lean (leaner?) than beef. It was really busy but we still got our food in about 10 minutes or so. I was... More

Only took about 10 minutes for our burger, fries and onion straws to be ready, the shake was ready quick. All around deliciousness! Will stop again the next time we come through, yummmmm!
