Exactly what we wanted. Very casual, not much ambiance--but very decent food and good service. Not fancy by any definition, but good meal. Brisket platter, grilled California chicken breast, and cheeseburger all enjoyed. Subbed a salad for the fries on the chicken and it was good. Waiters and waitresses very prompt, polite and helpful. Recommend for an easy dinner!

Service was very friendly and prompt. The food was fine but nothing special. The menu is pretty broad - it was almost a diner feel to me

Place looks more like a hot dog stand than a restaurant, so don't expect any dinner atmosphere. Emphasis is completely on barbecue. We had the rib, brisket and pulled pork combo and food was pretty average. I would say to skip the ribs. Price was reasonable so value was decent. Good service.

Looking for a decent meal in the Mall at Snowmass, we hiked up the stairs ….. The restaurant Is a bit small and focuses on meat – ribs, briskets, pulled pork, chicken. We split a double order of ribs, which came with a side of curly fries and cole slaw. The single serving is $15, double order $19 and the... More

I first came to the Big Hoss Grill in December 2012 and since then, I've been coming back about 1-3 times a week! The nachos and burgers are my goto for food. The breakfast is hardy and delicious too. But, what really makes this fun casual restaurant a real winner are the employees. They could not be more friendly or... More

Went here after a long ski day. We wanted simple fare at a good price. Hard to find in Aspen, but Big Hoss Grill was just right. Our waitress discussed menu options and made suggestions based on our description of our interests. Her recommendations were perfect.

Mediocre burger that tasted like it was preformed/pressed, and not at all of good quality meat. The bacon on top of the burger was a nice touch, though; boring and watery margarita; Very friendly staff, however. They need to kick it up a notch...

We ate breakfast and lunch a few times during our visit and it was always delicious. Quality food, simple, moderately priced. Easy access for a quick and dependable meal while skiing. Friendly staff. Always left satisfied.
