We were craving a good, hearty breakfast before our day of exploring and hiking...and we found the right place! The staff that was there was kind and courteous, and the food we had was fantastic! I would recommend the Big Hoss Grill any day while in Snowmass!

We started off with the Red Chili. It was meaty and smooth in flavor, not too spicy. Next, a salad. It was fresh, not wilted. I love smoked meats and the brisket was delicious, moist. The sides of slaw, beans and fries were okay. The slaw lacked a little kick.

We arrived at 11:15 AM and asked for lunch since the sign indicated it started at 12:15. We were told it wasn't time yet. Anyway we ordered a bloody Mary and breakfast and was quite good. Steak and eggs for me and an omelet for my wife. Relax go with the flow! and don't worry about stuff! Breakfast or lunch... More

In the open-air mall next to the Westin. We had ribs one night for dinner. Good, but more vinegar than we like. Had breakfast also, very good egg croissant sandwich.

Easily the best homemade salsa, guacamole and homemade chips around! Big Hoss catered a "get together" for our wedding weekend and was loved by everyone!

One of the few places open for a late morning breakfast during this "shoulder season". At the recommendation of our shuttle driver, we came here and were not disappointed! My granddaughter got the pancakes and I had french toast. Both were delicious--but the bacon, oh my the bacon was delish!! (and isn't breakfast about the bacon!!). The service was good... More

Good food and beer. But as with several places in Snowmass, there are no frills - kind of a diner atmosphere inside.
