On our last night we wanted to treat ourselves, but we also wanted something low-key. Dinner here was THE BEST way to end a fabulous vacation. Beautiful place, cozy. Hearing the dogs bark as you approach the restaurant on wooden steps in the snow is unforgettable. Elk loin was SO delicious - you have to try it. It's going to... More

The Mushroom soup was exquisite and the Filet Mignon was grand. The Brie appetizer was nice but not as great as I was lead to believe. The rum and coke was smooth and the rustic cabin was a fun place to eat dinner by the dogs as they howled away, waiting for their next turn to take people on their... More

We had lunch here recently after the dog sledding experience. The food was amazing. The mushroom soup was probably the best we've ever had anywhere. The baked brie with pears and the kobe sliders were great also. The elk tenderloin with veggies and garlic potatoes was excellent. Service was great and atmosphere was pleasant. Can't recommend this place enough. We... More

Krabloonik is such a unique place in Snowmass Village. Where else can you visit with real sled dogs, cuddle the new husky puppies, take a sled ride into Winter Wonderland and return for a wonderful meal in a cabin heated by an old fashioned wood stove and lit with gas lamps? Aside from the beauty and warmth of the setting,... More

While the restaurant was closed, my family and I took great joy in visiting and seeing all of these remarkable animals. They are so well taken care of, and one of the owners, Danny Phillips, took the time to personally walk us around the enclosures and talk to us in detail about why they run certain things the way they... We went to visit to specifically see the dogs. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly owner, Danny Phillips, who was happy to give us a full tour with complete introduction to the world of working dogs. The dogs were all happy, well taken care of and genuinely fond of the humans who took care of them. They... More

This is a rare chance to take a dog sled ride, then dine in an amazing and quaint restaurant. Serving local game and traditional food classics, you will not be disappointed. Pricey, but worth it!

Krabloonik is a place you won't want to miss! I was in Snowmass 20 years ago and I must say that Krabloonik is still as amazing a place as it used to be. I was greeted by Danny, the owner, who was so pleasant and welcoming! He took us all around the property and showed us all the dogs that... More

We have eaten there many times over the course of the past 15 years. Service and food are both slipping, especially for the price. There are better places not too far away.
