This is a must stop place in town. Okay, it is where all the tourists go, but it is worth it. Go in at off hours. The food is good and the way the place is decorated is even better. Everything on the menu looks good. Don't even go through the front door if you are on a diet.

Four of us went to The Pitts Again after arriving in Silverton via the Durango & Silverton RR. My husband and I shared a pulled pork dinner that was just delicious. They knew we were sharing and brought us two trays so we could split the meal. Service was great. And we shared a peach cobbler for dessert - also... More

We took the narrow gauge locomotive from Durango to Silverton Colorado---a great old time train ride with wonderful scenery. A local suggested this small restaurant--no frills & crowded, but well worth the wait. Terrific brisket, fall off the bones ribs, amazing fried onion rings & fried pickles---we were lucky we could walk afterwards. Bought their Tee shirt & when I... More

We live in Arizona and have eaten at their location many times. When we found out that they had a location in Silverton, you know we had to eat there. We have been many times when we were in motorcycle trios to Colorado, and when we did the Train we definitely knew where to eat. We've had almost everything on... More

We took the train from Durango and landed in Silverton for lunch. Thee Pitts Again didn't have a long line so we took a chance. It turned out to be better than expected. The bar-b-que had a good smoke to it, the beans were thoughtfully prepared and the slaw was nice and fresh. Heard the desserts were huge and outstanding... More

My husband and I stopped in to eat BBQ while touring Silverton between train rides. Food was delicious and environment was quirky. We would definitely stop in again next visit.

This family owned business has been around since the 1970s starting in Arizona. They have competed in national bbq contests from the beginning and have over 300 awards to show for it. We stop in at there place when we travel if we are in the area and really enjoy there pulled pork. If you like ribs that fall off... More

If you read other reviews you'll see terms like "Falling off the bone" , "super Tender", etc. Well this is because this place doesn't serve authentic BBQ in the way most BBQ connoisseur would consider. The meat is all boiled until tender then thrown in a smoker for a few to get a smoke taste. Its not bad food at... More
