We stopped at Brown Bear on a drive between Durango and Montrose. The atmosphere is great. I had a plain ol' plate of eggs, bacon and toast, but it didn't disappoint. I can't wait to get back and try some other things on their menu....More

Our favorite breakfast place in Silverton. Always make it a point to stop in when staying or passing through. Locals are always hanging at the table by the kitchen. Food is good and plentiful.

Historic and cute little cafe we ate at while driving through. French Onion Soup was yummy! BLT was good too! My chicken strips weren't home breaded, but still good food and service!

Dec 23, 2017. Stopped for breakfast, be there before 10:30. Best service (thanks Cathy) and food anywhere. We had an omelet, fried eggs, ham, real hash browns pancakes and sourdough toast. It was huge and I needed a nap afterwards.
