About
We are began as restaurant business , and now we have expanded into a complete holiday experience. This includes quality accommodation ( casa narrow ) , a beachfront beer garden and a spa with massage facilities. We have six different types of rooms, fully equipped with AC, fan and hot water showers. In some rooms there is satellite TV. The restaurant has also evolved into a popular blend of Indonesian and western cuisine.

Narrow is a fab little restaurant in Nemberala which provides both Asian and Western Food (including Mexican). I had the best Mie Goreng of my stay there and my dining partners all loved their food too! The décor is very different to anything else in Rote and has some resemblance to Potato Head on Bali. It’s also a good place to buy wine too but just note it is hard to obtain and therefore expensive on Rote. That said, I stocked up a couple of times 😊.
We were shown around the accommodation while we were there. Lovely rooms and very stylishly decorated too.
In addition to eating there a couple of times, we had several massages in their spa. Not only is this one of the cheaper places to get a massage in Nemberala but they have great masseuses who have been properly trained and all in airconditioned comfort. Tina was my go to as she found the right balance between soft and hard. She also got the knots out of my neck after my first massage. My partner had Ari (?) who managed to greatly improve a strained intercostal muscle.
A final bonus was that it was great to be able to use our Visa/Wise card at the EFPTOS here. Only a couple of places have this availability at the moment.

This place is amazing!! Run by a lovely couple (Christina & Derek) with absolute love and a generosity of spirit that deeply touched me. It was like coming home the first time I stepped into their restaurant. I immediately decided to move from my other accommodation over to Narrow.
The food, service, level of attention and detail is excellent.... don't give their menu a miss and the cakes are simply yummmm

After a few years we went back to stay with Christina & Derek at Narrow restaurant, renting one of their excellent rooms and enjoying their amazing hospitality. It was like coming home... it has actually become our second home in Indonesia and we will be back for more

Stayed for 7 nights in the Villa and ate all meals here. Every one was delicious. The friendly staff, great food and comfortable room made my week a delight. Highly recommended.

The restaurant offers thay, corean and local dishes. Nothing special. Sincerely it is not the first restaurant in Rote. Prices are good but quality is not the best

The location is at Narrow Restaurant, Accomodation and Spa. We spent time at the restaurant at night for drink and in the morning for breakfast. The place was very comfort for talks. For breakfast they made us sandwiches by using homemade bread. I t was delicious.

I had passed this restaurant a few times during my stay in Nemberala and wanted to give it a try as it looks very inviting. I wasn't disappointed. Google had it listed on a Thursday as closed but we rang and were happy to find it was open. They even came and picked us up from the hotel. Lovely staff and owners. We had a good chat with the lady and man that own the place and they had some great stories to tell. The food was fantastic. My wife and I had steak which was tender and cooked to perfection. The kids loved the ice cream. All this in a wonderful setting.

My wife and i had a coffee here everyday on the way back from the surf. Its a wonderful restaurant with excellent coffee. Derrick and Christina are really nice accommodating people.

So far my best culinary memory in rote... We came the evening and they had king crab special dish. Was so far my best crab ever and for really raisonnable price. The owner is so cool and knows rote like no one, he will give you good tips about place to visit.

Stumbled across this lovely Bar & Restaurant on our recent trip to Rote Island.
We had the fresh Grilled Squid which was the daily special. It was a massive serve that in hindsight we could have shared as we both also had an entree.
Christina, the owner was simply lovely & gave us a tour of the rooms available to stay in which were really nice as well.
Thanks for great lunch and your kind hospitality.
We will be back again.
