Hello everyone....
Lunch and dinner in this very informal but at the same time cute little place in Nemberala.
We have ranged between the various Indonesian specialties and everything has always been to our liking.
Very kind staff, as everywhere on this island and correct bill.
If we return to Rote, we will stop by to visit you again...

I have been with my daughters at Bekky few times and have always been very satisfied. I tried avocado wrap and quinoa salad, and my daughters the Balinese fish and a vegetarian pizza. The portions are generous, well prepared and presented. The beer is well chilled and juices or smoothies are amazing (strawberry-manggo smoothie is absolutely stunning). The staff is nice and very welcoming. Only small complain ... Don't be in a hurry, sometimes it takes patience, speed is not the main quality of this delicious restaurant.

I have eaten pizza at Bekky Boo quite a few times and it has always been delicious, but this review is to focus on their granola, which I buy bags of to take out for breakfast.
The granola is full of a variety of healthy ingredients and is far better than anything you can buy in a shop here in Rote, that is if you can find any at all.

Nice little restaurant in the centre of town. Lovely, friendly staff and great food. When we arrived some other customers recommended to us the pizza, which we ordered for the kids, and we ordered fish. All great. Really authentic pizza and very tasty, fresh fish. There's even a small pool table and most importantly the beer is cold! I even got a free t-shirt.

We did eat twice during a week. Fish and chips, burger, pizza, everything is outstanding ! and there is a pool to enjoy while they cooking. Totally recommend !

We had some dinner at bekky boos. We went there twice during our stay and enjoyed the food and the friendly staff very much . Service was quick and easy . Food was super fresh and each day they had a special dish . Can only recommend checking it out . 💕

I can't stop thinking about the chicken wraps, carrot cake, and fresh juices. They also have amazing ice creams made in house! Perfect after a long morning of surfing.

We went to Bekky Boo restaurant for lunch. It was already busy at noon. Nice little spot on the “main” road in Nemberala. Great place to watch the world go by! There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Had a little grassed area out the front with a plastic slide for little ones. Open kitchen so you can see the quality of the produce and staff preparing the food. We ordered a margarita pizza. There was quite a long wait so I’d suggest not waiting until you (or your kids) are hungry before ordering. Pizza had a nice thin base and was tasty. Our 3 year old son demolished it in no time!

We went there with my wife and son a few times during our week in Rote. The setting is very pleasant with an open air patio. It makes it easy to chat with the other guests and meet people. The service as everywhere else in Rote is very friendly and the food portions are generous. They make their local bread which is...interesting. And they have wifi which we didn’t have in some other places

Bekky Boo restaurant is across the Anugerah Surf and Dive Resort. Also near to Nembrala beach. If you are bored with menu from resort, you could come & try their food. Western style but they also provide rice menu. I was amazed with the big portion. They also serve saute fish with reasonable rates. They have open kitchen, so we could see the staff when they cook our dish.

We ate at Bekky Boo three times during our 10 days stay in Rote. 1st time around is OK, service was very slow but restaurant was busy so its acceptable.
2nd time came for lunch, was pretty hungry and service still very slow despite no other customer besides me & the boyfriend.
3rd time came for dinner.. I ordered spaghetti carbonara but the pasta came in as undercooked fettucini which surprised me but OK as still edible. I ordered orange juice for drink, but VERY disappointed it was only like 1 tsp orange juice with way too many water, tasteless & kinda inappropriate with what written “Orange Juice”.
The restaurant got nice ambience and setting but they need to work on their service and food.. dunno why people say its the best restaurant in Rote. Maybe because there is no other restaurant?!
