Watch the time, they close early, probably because they open early. Vast selections of baked goods and breads. Visited on Easter weekend and sure enough, Hot Cross Buns, with the flavors reminiscent of my Aunts and Grandma back in Ohio. Only coffee shop we found in the area.

This is just so cute - you go in to a more-or-less typical looking bakery. But there is a little room off to the right with tables and chairs. You can eat your sandwich (made with fresh bread) or drink your coffee (out of a locally made pottery mug) there. They also make one or two soups there daily (not... More

Every last morsel of our lunch and dessert was divine!! We tried the ham pocket, breakfast burrito, tomato bisque soup, pecan roll and raspberry cinnamon roll. This is a wonderful treat that will make your taste buds happy!

It was a cool , windy fall day and the front door of the Slice O'Life Bakery (SOLB) seemed to open itself as we walked by. Then the aromas of fresh coffee, soup and WONDERFUL pastries just took over our willpower! What a good choice we made--the SOLB is an icon in the lovely village of Palisade, Coolorado. Not to... This place was super charming and it's like you stepped back in time to good ol' Main Street USA. We went in with our large family group, and they handled our complicated orders like pros. We all ordered sandwiches - ham, turkey, or combo - served on freshly baked sliced bread and all the fixin's. If I went back again,... More

Stopped for a latte and was pleased they had almond milk. I was really tickled that they had gluten free stuff and my muffin was moist and delicious!

We stopped after visiting several farms and wineries in the area. They had a creamy chicken, vegi, bean soup that was wonderful with a sandwich that included farm fresh vegies. It was all very good and very filling. Saved 1/2 the sandwich for dinner.

Everyone we talked to in town recommended the bakery for morning pastries so we had to give it a try even though we had been well fed by our Airbnb hostess. I had a peach/blackberry star and my wife a cinnamon swirl stick. Both lived up to billing for this small, homey, authentic small bakery

We entered this establishment on a hot summer day to simply get a drink and were greeted in the most unusual way. A spunky granny immediately came out of the kitchen and gruffly told us that if we wanted to order, that we'd better get on it! The poor younger gal behind the counter tried to make up for her... Eklectic, downtown restaurant serving sandwiches, soup and baked goods. We had a very good sandwich and berry dessert. Good choice.
