My husband and I stopped by just after Christmas for some coffee and some pastry. We were heading somewhere else so it was take out. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly rude. None of the pastries had any label on them we asked what they were. The guy working the counter just mumbled what it was as he turned... More

Had a tasty mocha and a fresh blueberry muffin. Not a huge selection that day, but it was freshly baked and the coffee was made just right. It was Christmas break and the young son was working the register. He did a great job! First time in a long time that someone correctly counted back change! Nice job, guy!

It was pretty quiet the morning after Christmas, and we were the only patrons. Family-owned business. The husband/wife were working the kitchen and their young son was working the register and taking orders. Very polite young man! We ordered breakfast wraps (burritos) which were piping hot and delicious.

Stopped here for lunch. The wraps and sandwiches were very fresh and good. It took all my will power to avoid buying some other baked goodies for the road.

We stopped in for breakfast while on vacation. First I would like to say that the staff here is wonderful. When ordering you do so at the counter and pay at the same time. Then it is delivered to your table. I ordered the average breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast.. All was good, but the toast was to... More

My wife and I visited here on 9/20/16 for a late breakfast. Nicely appointed inside a 1888 historic building. ADA inside but short step for wheelchair at entrance. Suggested a temp ramp would solve that problem. Courteous staff.

This was my favorite stop in Ouray. The coffee is amazing and made fresh from an espresso machine. The quiche lorraine was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the ham, cheese, and chile scone was scrumptious. But by far, the best part of the visit was Catcher, the owner's 9 year son. He was very knowledgeable about all the baked goods and gave... More

Some of the best service we had in Ouray! Great coffee, big smiles, and wonderful sticky buns! Highly recommended for breakfast!

Arrived after a visit to another restaurant and was anxious for a good cup of coffee and a bagel. They had a good selection of pastries and bagels. I ordered a sesame bagel, toasted with cream cheese. The bagel was fresh and tender. Each cup of coffee is made fresh from a Expresso machine. I appreciate seeing bread being made... More

The owner is a great guy with a marvelous nine year old son. We are very thankful for this bakery that carries fat free bread. My husband is allowed ten fat grams a day because of severe CAD. He can eat fat free bread. Thank you Artisan!
