Finding the entrance was a bit tough and parking in the ice wasn't the best, but once we got in it was a beautiful interior and fantastic service. We ordered the escargot, filet, salads, and one of the best Creme Brûlées we've ever had. All of it was very good except the escargot - it was okay, but definitely not... More

We love the Briarhurst and eat here every other month often spending close to $300 a night. Normally we have a wonderful, romantic dinner with delicious food and great service. So we decided to reserve a table for the New Year's Eve Champagne dinner. Our food and service was wonderful as expected (we love their chef). Our only issue was... More

My wife and I went to the Briarhurst for the New Year's Eve special menu. I had checked out their on-line wine list but found nothing well rated, expensive or otherwise, so decided to just drink by the glass. The Merlot I ordered was cheap and satisfactory. I had the Lobster Bisque for my starter and I think it may... More

Avoid this establishment if you are Africian American...very prejudice. The food was very good, however, we ignored and treated like second class citizen.

We had a delightful meal. The building has a 19th century charm and is beautifully situated in a courtyard and garden off of the main drag going into Manitou (and the driveway leading into the restaurant /lodge is easily overlooked). We opted for the fixed price 4 course meal and were not disappointed. One caveat: The bill was high.

If there's a better fine-dining establishment in Manitou Springs, we haven't found out about it. Briarhurst Manor has interesting menu options, a warm ambience about the surroundings, and an elegance of service that never intimidates. There are always little surprises compliments of the chef, and the all-inclusive multi-course menu option is fantastic...but you'd better be hungry. It's difficult to say... More

The Briarhurst Manor is one of the homes traced to the early days of Colorado and Manitou Springs. This a unique spot for meals. We have entertained business guests, family and employees here. If you are looking for a unique Christmas Party this is it! It is our favorite place for Easter dinner on "Mom's day out of the kitchen."... More
