The place is run by one guy. He is bartender, cook, waiter & with all of that the customer service was great. Chips fried homemade, with homemade sasa. My chicken burrito was the best I have had in quite a while. Other guy sitting next to me had the Taco meal & said I should have gotten some of those... More

Love the Taco al Pastor. Family friendly restaurant with great food and prices. I'm getting hungry thinking about it. Authentic Mexican food on a budget is my cup of tea.

I've read several of the negative reviews. I find it funny that Jay J took a picture of metal in their burrito on top of an empty plate. Schaleepeen complaining about mesquite seasoning in beans being a Colorado thing (mesquite is NOT in their beans nor any beans in Colorado), Alice J being way over the top dramatic and Darrah... We were planning on eating at the High Mountain Pie, for pizza. With the misty rain their limited indoor seating could not accommodate our family. With a baby in arms we walked around the corner and ended up at Manuelita. While reading the reviews concerned me, our experience was actually not bad. Our server was efficient and attentive. Their chips... More

My family and I ate hear for lunch while driving through Leadville. The service was friendly and fast. The food was mediocre. The bathrooms seem to be very rundown and smelled of mold and mildew. Probably wouldn't eat here again.

Kind of interesting, authentic southwestern food, but menu is limited overall and not good for vegetarians.

Very good little authentic Mexican restaurant. Clean wood floors. The waiter, who may also be the owner, said everything is home made, from the chips and salsa to all the meals. It is spicy. You have been warned.

My order was wrong and the waiter gave me a hard time about not wanting to eat it. My kids ordered the quesadilla (which they usually devour no matter where we are) and they both said it tasted funny. I guess we should have known the place was not good by the lack of people dining. While we were seated,... More

I unfortunately only went here for lunch last week because High Mountain Pies, my original choice for lunch while driving through town, was closed for renovations. One of the guys there recommended this place to me, but I now wish I had taken a quick look on here to see if it was any good or not. Bottom line -... More
