After reading glowing reviews, I ordered an 18-inch pizza from Diorio's. Regular sauce, mushrooms, sausage and green pepper. When I got it home there were only 8 pieces of sausage, 7 pieces of pepper and about a dozen mushroom "stems and pieces." To me, that is ridiculous! The sauce was bland, the crust, while thinner than, say, a Papa John's... More

We just love this place. We lived here when they first opened up, and were a little skeptical about their claim of being NY style pizza. We need not have worried. The owner was from Connecticut, and that's close enough to NY to count. It's the best pizza that we have ever eaten outside of the big apple. Perfect crust,... More

The pizza is really good, crispy thin crust with tasty sauce. Severely lacking in ambiance. No salads. A very plain place catering presumably to students.

First time at Diorio's. We got 2 calzones so can't speak for the pizza or sandwiches. They were one flatter but very large for individual calzones. At the cost of $7.25 each I guess they should be. The filled part of the calzone was very good. The ricotta and mozzarella had a lot of flavor. There was a lot of... More

Diorio's serves the best New York pizza in western Colorado and their Stromboli is mouth watering... and always my first choice. You won't be disappointed no matter what you order. The place is simple, nothing fancy but comfortable.

Do yourself a favor when you visit Grand Junction. Pay a visit to a little pizza and sandwich shop named Diorio's. I promise that you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is the pastrami and provolone with tomato and spicy mustard. Any time I visit town, this is a must stop! Absolutely delicious every time!!

This is the 3rd time me and my buddies met up at Diorio's pizzeria. Each visit, we split a pizza, and once, we all tried subs. Just plain, cheese pizza is by far the best, and probably the best in all of grand junction. I've been visiting Diorio's ever since I was little, and I'm glad it's still open! Can't... More

We ate lunch after visiting a winery in the area and found out they make all their own breads, they roast their coffee beans before making and have wonderful breakfast and sandwiches as well as pizza. The stomboli was popular with other diners. The flavored coffees were delicious as were the sandwiches we had and prices were reasonable.

Leave your scale at home, but you will enjoy the authentic Italian fare here. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. Far better choice than any chain Italian restaurant.
