Big City Dining in Grand Junction—What? We hadn’t been to Grand Junction in a very long time. Years ago all you could find for dining was a steak house, some diners and some fast food places. Now Grand Junction has restaurants that make it feel all grown up! Il Bistro Italiano has delicious food, super servers and a nice setting.... More
My most favorite place in GJ. My husband likes because many offerings without pasta, but still great Italian. Group of 8 last nite. Still good service and personable wait staff. Recommend reservations, particularly weekend dinner.
This was our 5th time having dinner at the restaurant in the past 18 months. The first 4 times were great. Fifth time was terrible! We decided to take our out of town guests for a treat. Terrible experience, horrible food. Atmosphere great. Service was awful. We asked our waitress for things like water a fork to eat dinner -... More
Our first time in Grand Junction. We were looking for a nice, cozy place to eat. We found il Bistro Italiano on tripadvisor. It was very welcoming, nice atmosphere with white linen table cloth and nicely folded dark red napkins. The food was excellent, very good prices and a great waiter. We can highly recommend this restaurant, a great experience while... More
It is always great expirience there. Good food and service. Homemade pasta is deliciuos! The menu can satisfite every single customer.
We always make it a point to dine at il Bistro when we are in Grand Junction. The restaurant has an interesting menu, so there is always something special and pleasing for each member of our party. The "specials" are always worth considering. The wine list is interesting and offers a good variety of choices. The service is friendly and... More

GJ has become somewhat of a metropolitan canter of Colorado's western slope...and we were pleasantly surprised by the extensive, traffic controlled downtown, abustle with folks shopping, eating (in and out) and enjoying entertainment. The Il Bistro Italiano, in the center of things, puts out decent... More

Last time we were at iL Bistro Italiano we brought a party of 24. That was in 2015 and had a great experience. I took my wife there tonight. We did not have a reservation but were seated in 15 minutes. Another couple came in several minutes after us without a reservation and waited with us. They were seated before us. Why? We finally were seated and sat for 20 minutes without a waiter stopping by our table and taking a drink order. Why? The couple who should have been after us received their drinks. We left and thanked the hostess for seating us. Will NEVER go back there. Boycott this restaurant. The service is poor and the customer is treated like cattle by the waitstaff. My question is why?
