We had a nice brunch at Wondervu. Service was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our meal. Not much of an actual view, though a good stopover if you're passing by. Menu is quite extensive with a Mexican bias. Not too many 'healthy' options so bear this in mind if that's your requirement.

4 hungry gals, needing a hot meal and a cold beer. Sue ran the dining floor single handed and yet made us feel like we were the only diners there's. we all ordered Mexican dishes and were not disappointed in anything other than the fact we couldn't finish our plates!

The Wondervu Cafe is a delicious Mexican restaurant on top of a beautiful mountain. I am a huge critic when it comes to green chili because I pride myself on the chili I make for my family at home. Wondervu's chili was delicious. It was very flavorful and not so spicy that all the other flavors were disguised. My husband... More

Fresh tasting Mexican on the mountain. A little pricey for Mexican, but the ambience is awesome. Definitely worth it.

We stumbled across this restaurant on the scenic drive from Denver to Estes Park. The food was delicious and the portions are huge. Some of the best Mexican food we have had. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full to try them. Next time!!!

We stayed at the Eldora Lodge and lucked upon the Wondervu Cafe for dinner. This extremely remote, isolated cafe provided great surface and excellent food. The Mexican food was as though we were back in Texas. It was true Tex-Mex! The salsa was delicious, and we learned later it is being sold in Whole Foods market. The food had great... More

Adeline has owned Wondervu Cafe for 40 years. The recipes are ones she inherited from her mother and grandmother. I have never had anything here that was not absolutely incredible! Her margarita menu is great too. The chile rellenos are my favorite; try them with her green chile sauce. Her guacamole is awesome; it is some of the best I... More

First off, getting there is half the fun as it's situated on top of a ridge far from hub bub of the suburbs. The food is marvelous and the portions are large. A great value. At times they get a little busy but why be in a rush? It's great to sit outside and enjoy the day.

We are big eaters and this really was a ton of food. Homemade slasas ("chili") were all excellent. We heard that Desserts are wonderful but never got that far.
