varied menu, nice service, great chili ---- casual local place but good stop for the traveler -- simple place good for a no rush meal -- good place to meet friends for coffee or a snack

Hmmmm, having enjoyed some of the best restaurants in the world I have to give credit where credit is due. From the minute my close local friend and I entered until we left everything was just perfect. I will leave my green chili slopper mainly to your imagination, but lets just say a fine portion of hamburger, the chile and... More

My family and I were passing through headed to spring bread ski trip. I left my wallet in the restroom and realized it 2 hours later. Wasn't even sure where I left it. Was so surprised that Susan at Wildflower was already searching for me on facebook so they could return it. I asked her to please take the $$... More

Went here after visiting the mission wolf sanctuary. The food was good and reasonably priced. Tried one of their specialty pizzas and it was tasty.

My husband and I were sight-seeing in the area of Westcliff, CO and drove to Gardner, just to check it out. As we were heading back through town, we saw the sign for the "Wildflower Cafe and Store" and decided to stop in, just to see what they had is such a small, out-of-the- way "tiny town" (as a previous... We were in the middle of a hard day on our 300 mile bike trip when we stopped here for a noon break. Even though we brought our own sandwiches, they graciously allowed us to escape the heat by eating in the cafe . Of course we bought soda, snacks, ice cream and energy bars for the road.....it would have... More

We were on our way to visit a friend's ranch and as we approached Gardner, realized how hungry we were. And there it was, the darling Wildflower Cafe in the over 100 year old former gas station, just across from the Gardner School. A combination grocery, homemade herbal tea and tincture shop and restaurant, they also sell homemade pie, breakfast... More

I belong to an organization that owns property nearby so I usually stop in to eat a meal when I'm in the area. The food is always excellent. They tend to specialize in Mexican fare and they do it right. They also typically have a couple of pies to choose from for a dessert which is a nice option. They... More

I have been working in Southern Colorado and traveling through Gardner routinely for the past year and as a result eat at the Wildflower with great frequency. Susan and the entire family put out some of the best food within the remote area of 75 miles. You would be well advised to call ahead to be sure they have green... More

Great menu, fun environment, and good prices. A great little surprise in this tiny town on hwy 69. Take a break from the road to support this indie business and cafe! If ONLY they had a gas pump... oh well.
