Once you get over the 8 locals bellied up to the bar staring at you as you walk in the door, the place is great. It's a quaint little burger joint perfect for chowing down and enjoy some apres-ski after a long day of shredding.

We went to Moose Jaw mid-afternoon looking for drinks and appetizers. We waited standing at the bar for service for over 10 minutes, and although there were no other people waiting we were not served. Their loss, we left and went to another place down the street.

Best burger in Frisco for your dollar. A couple of no, no's... Don't blow a whistle in this place and don't ask for the wine list. Other than that its the best place for burgers and a beer or three!

My husband and I recently went to the Moose Jaw with 4 other couples. We asked if we could have separate checks and were told no (not very politely I might add). So we walked out. There was not one other customer in the restaurant. We went down the street to the Boatyard and were treated well, separate checks, and... More

This place was actually recommended by a friend, but we were not happy with our experience here. We went inside when we got there and were ignored completely until we went up to the bar to ask about eating at the outdoor tables. The bartender told we could go ahead and seat ourselves. I ordered a burger on my friends... More

The Moose Jaw, this place is great. But, be warned: the food is ok (not great), the beer is ok. What makes this place amazing is that it's the old bar in town. The one that has stood the test of time, the one the locals sit at and have sat at for decades, this is the bar where old... More

Food was good. Price was right. Service from an older brunette....absolutely horrendous. Gave us major attitude after requesting to split the bill (we were in the area for business). She became audibly and visibly upset. She definitely treated us negatively from that point on. Will not return based on this incident. She certainly left a bad taste in our mouths.

If you want a local bar with character this is a good place to start. Nothing real fancy just cold drinks and good food. You always see interesting people (locals) to enhance the experience. Good and friendly service just adds to the fun! Check it out!

Nearly 3 years ago my husband and I stopped here for lunch while on a 34 mile bike ride from Breck to Copper Mountain and back. We just did that ride again and decided to eat lunch here again. Last time we both had the fish sandwich. Very good. This time he had the fish & chips and I had... More

There were 13 of us - age 8 to 75 - all choose hamburgers, some added cheese and some added bacon - and they were ALL good! The meat was NOT over cooked and all were served in a basket with french fries. We had all the 'fixin's' we wanted to add and make them 'personal.' My only complaint was... More
