What sets Ras Ka apart from other restaurants in town is their homey atmosphere and delicious homemade sauces. The spices come from Ethiopia, but the dishes are more American fusion, I think. My favorite dishes are the Ethiopian Chicken, seasonal fish, and their chickpeas. You can tell the meals are nourishing because you are full for a very long time... More

I have been to good Ethiopian restaurants before, but this was below the mark. The sauce for my dish tasted as though it came straight from a can, our drinks were left empty most of the meal, and the restaurant itself is extremely cramped.

Ethiopian cuisine specializing in GMO free, gluten free, vegan dishes if you want to indulge. The sauce is definitely different and is available for purchase in mild or hot form. I think it makes a great spicy bbq sauce or marinade for steak and chicken in the oven, skillet or the grill. Located off campus from Colorado State University so... More

This isn't the real deal. My dish was served with brown rice, a salad, and just half a piece of poorly-made injera. The dish I ordered, although wholesome and healthy, was tiny and tasteless in comparison to the three authentic ethiopian restaurants I've been to. Half the dishes feature kale and other non-ethiopian dishes. The restaurant doesn't even offer a... More

First of, everything on the menu is dairy free, and almost everything is gluten free. The food was delicious. I had the Ethiopian chicken, will definitely be back. Best restaurant in Fort Collins!

We were here for dinner and got the family meal (I can't recall exactly what it was called). The menu stated that you chose 5 entrees, your choice of either one appetizer or dessert, and your choice of coffee or tea. We ordered chicken and fish entrees. We were then told it had to be one chicken entree and one... More

I have been to Ras-Ka three or four times now and cannot get enough. I tell everyone I know to eat there and everyone echoes my enthusiasm. The food is delicious, fresh, and healthy. I eat mainly veggies and this restaurant devotes half of the menu to delicious vegan dishes that anyone would like. I've had the plantain, eggplant, mushroom... More

This is a tiny, colorful, quaint, family run Ethiopian restaurant. While the menu is limited, the food is quite good the the staff is friendly. I think they're all family. The only drawback is that the service is a bit slow but what they lack in efficiency they make up for in delicious, home cooked food, served with a warm... More

Was in town for a workshop at CSU and went to Ras Ka on the advice of one of the students. Had never tried Ethiopian food before and was looking forward to the experience. Atmosphere was relaxed and the service was helpful, explaining the dish options on the menu. I ordered the white fish, roasted yams and other vegetables -... More

This was our second visit and we came back to Ft. Collins especially to eat here! The food was excellent again, the ambiance unique and the atmostphere calm and hospitable. Everything about it is delightful
