Family run and family friendly restaurant with spectacular scenery just outside. Wonderful service. Smoked meats include chicken and pork. A bit pricey. The beans and cole slaw were wonderful.

Average BBQ, nothing special. Very expensive, easily over $12.00 a person for lunch. Baked beans not very good.

Tiny place. You shuffle up to the window and place your order. Someone hollers when it's ready. If there's a high tourist season, maybe you don't get a table, but in mid-Oct. we found room indoors. We got a few different meats and thought the pulled pork was the only hit. Good slaw and greens and ok beans. As there... More

I had a three meat combo. The ribs were very tender and moist with a great smoked flavor. The pulled pork had a strong mustard-vinegar sauce which I really liked, but could understand how some people find it too intense. The sausage was okay, but I would have preferred it a little spicier. My sides were coleslaw and sliced tomatoes.... More

I thought this was a fun and interesting stop. My husband and I disagreed on the experience, but MY THOUGHTS are that it's a "joint" or a "dive" but that's okay. The experience was fun because owner Criselda (sp?) was just a hoot! From the 80's music blaring from the kitchen to her setting orders in the pick-window and calling... More

Fallz-off-the-bone, perfectly done ribs and chicken. Great sides too, beans, cole slaw, and good white bread. And homemade cobbler! Amazingly good for Fairplay. Also, the owner does rocks and minerals and some folk jewelry with local stuff. Cool rock and mineral display in the restaurant. I hope this place gets the business they deserve, and doesn't have to close like... More

Sausage and ribs were good. Peach cobbler had just come out of oven and was delicious. It is a small place and gets crowded quickly.

I have never attempted to eat more horrid food, ever. We had just arrived in Fairplay, after a day of driving, and discovered our restaurant choices were very limited. We walked into this place, ordered, and the vile woman who took our order called me, "Hey lady, hey lady", and barked like a dog. We were hungry, and tried the... More

We stopped by when they were finally open- we kept looking on the days we were in town. Owner lady was super nice and welcoming - I lost count of how many times she called me babe haha. Food was pretty decent, sausage was better than the ribs, but I would eat the ribs again. Pork Sandwich was smothered in... More
