We used the hard rock ten times in succession for breakfast whilst in empire on business. Foods really good , the Denver omelette and trailblazer my fave. Staff are friendly and it's always busy which is a great sign. Defiantly recommend the hard rock (original;-) for a big and tasty breakfast ! Good value also !

My wife and I stopped by here on our way through. We really enjoyed the quant town and the restaurant. The food was very good and the service was great. The poor waitress was overworked as it was busy at lunch hour but she was good at keeping up. Wonderful unique little restaurant that I would love to stop at... More

We stopped here on our way home from Winter Park. Pleasantly surprised. Restaurant was clean with a nice old town feel. All of us enjoyed our meals. The breakfast croissant sandwich was huge, biscuits and gravy were great and the gluten free pancakes were awesome! Will definitely stop here again when taking a trip to the mountains.

This isn't Hard Rock Cafe the chain. They won a law suit that lets them use the name ( it pre-dates the chain ). This is a Mom and Pop that makes very good breakfasts and lunches. Never been here for dinner. When heading to summit county or Winter Park or Grand Lake or Rocky Mountain National Park this is... More

We were on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park and stopped in here for coffee because it looked like a good place. We were surprised by the uniqueness of the place and it's down home service. They have a beautiful little balcony dining spot out back. Inside they have tables and a bar sitting area. We sat at the... More

Arrived at noon...one person behind bar. He told us he was too busy to serve us and he was closed even though people were sitting having lunch. We asked to sit at bar and have a beer and he refused us. VERY RUDE! Would not recommend this establishment to anyone#

This little cafe has come a long ways in recent years. Nice historic building, and the Hard Rock name harkens to the mining heritage of the town. We go there for the superb thin crust pizza that is, without a doubt, the best in Clear Creek County. Ingredients are obviously fresh, and not canned. A great stop on the way... More
